Numerous players have taken advantage of the opportunity to play a large number of games with club teams that consistently develop their stable of talent. Below are five who have especially raised their stock.

[player_tooltip player_id='525606' first='Landry' last='O'Brien'], 5'8", SG, Labette County, 2025 - Missouri Legacy. The seven team Southeast Kansas League sent two members to the 2024 state tournament. O'Brien will be the Grizzlies' floor leader striving for a return trip. The SEKL second teamer only received one all-state honor, that being KSHSAA honorable mention. Her appearances on the Dynasty Prep Girls Hoops Circuit, playing with Missouri Legacy, frequently has caught our scouts' attention. In June Marissa Rimbert raved "O'Brien boasts a TEXTBOOK hesitation move!" In April Sam Duren called her "A scoring wing who can get after it on both ends of the court." O'Brien averaged 11.6 points, 2.1 steals and 2 assists but only 20% from three point land. She has great feet, strong handles and explodes on finishes. She has picked up offers from NAIA and NJCAA schools.

[player_tooltip player_id='766790' first='Taiylor' last='Caron'], 5'9", PF/PG, Field Kindley, 2025 - The Golden Tornado went 7-8 in a Southeast Kansas League that sent two teams to the state tournament. With the graduation of every first team selection Caron, a two-time second team selection (also KSHSAA and Sports In Kansas honorable mention), will be a major player in the team's push to reach it in 2025. Prep Girls Hoops' Garrett Eaton saw her at the end of June playing with her Coffeyville Magic club team. He called her a Swiss army knife due to her good size, length and speed with the ball. He also wrote that he is "Always impressed when players learn as the game goes on. Taiylor had a shot blocked on a fast break and then a few plays later had same scenario, only this time she gathered, let the defender fly by, and hit an easy bump. Smarty and savvy inside."

[player_tooltip player_id='827716' first='Kaylin' last='Caron'], 5'9", PG/SG, Field Kindley, 2026 - Playing with her Coffeyville Magic club team Caron caught the eye of Prep Girls Hoops' Garrett Eaton in late June. He liked her three point range, intensity and speed. Caron showed a smooth jumper that she wastes no movement with and releases quickly. He also noted her strength to finish through bigger defenders for 'And-1' opportunities. She will play a key handling and shooting role for a Golden Tornado team looking to challenge for the Southeast Kansas League title in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='886700' first='Taylin' last='Krafels'], 5'9", PF/SF, Buhler, 2027 - Buhler's post-season run came to a frustrating end at home against Scott City in a sub-state semi-final game. Despite a very deep, returning roster expect Krafels to parlay her several dozen summer ball games with Lady PGUHoops into a substantial role. Seeing her at the PGH Dynasty Circuit KC Clash event in May, Krafel showed herself to be a strong minded, fast and athletic big. I liked how well she jumped to the ball well rebounding, ran the ball down after a turnover to challenge finishes and showed the quickness to play the top of full court zone pressure. A very resilient and consistent player. Watch out for this one.

[player_tooltip player_id='779228' first='Katie' last='Weathers'], 5'8", SF, Scott City, 2027 - Weathers showed really good instincts, athleticism and an overall game reminiscent of her all-state and NAIA all-American Katie during summer 2023. She spent the 2024 high school season crushing at the jayvee level while pretty much only getting garbage time, varsity minutes. I caught her playing with her [program_tooltip program_id='715500' first='Magic' last='Basketball'] team in late June. I liked how quickly she finished scoring opportunities and smartly, off a half-court steal, created space to feed her point guard for a scoring chance. When she takes to the hardwoods again is to be seen. The day after I saw her Weathers went down with a significant knee injury. What I know is she is a basketball player to watch for upon her return as she will contribute to the Beavers' run to another sub-state finals appearance in 2025.
