Class of 2027 Excels at The Mitten Summer Showdown – Part 2

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Mitten Summer Showdown, held at Morey Courts in Mount Pleasant this past weekend, was the place to be for college coaches to watch some of Michigan's finest 2027's showcase their skills. There were plenty of Division 2, 3, NAIA, and Juco coaches in attendance to witness those skills. She hit multiple 3's in the game I watched with a smooth stroke, including a nice step-back from the top of the key. The Point Guard did a great job of creating for her teammates also. She excels at creating opportunities for herself and her teammates. During a game, she used a spin move in the lane to draw multiple defenders and then passed the ball to an open shooter. In a close game with less than a minute remaining, she made a crucial 3-pointer from the wing, displaying her composure under pressure. She uses her quickness to cause all sorts of havoc for her opponents. While she is super impressive on the defensive end of the court, she can get to the rim and knock down shots as well.
