Class of 2028: Point Guard Evaluations

Taylor checks in as one of the top guard prospects in South Dakota and is a big-time player for the Tanagers and extremely entertaining to watch! She's a little undersized but has zero fear and unmatched self confidence. Time after time when her team needs a play on defense, or a crucial basket on offense, she delivers. She's a scrappy defender who gets up in the passing lanes and creates havoc for ball handlers. Lightning speed in transition she creates offense from defense and she makes great decisions in the transition game. Her shooting confidence and range are stellar for a young kid and she can knock it down from the outside with consistency. Always improving, always competing, and always loving the game, Taylor is a player that will garner much-deserved attention over the next 4 seasons.     Nora has big-time skill already as just an incoming freshman and is one of the most polished point guard prospects in this class. She plays the game with pure enthusiasm and is a true spark for her team. Playing at the [program_tooltip program_id='787122' first='Sanford' last='Sports Academy'] this summer her game only continues to grow and she is primed for a big freshman year at Rapid City Christian. She is a true point guard who can create off the dribble, drops spot-on passes to teammates, and has the play-making ability to create for her entire squad. An intense competitor with a high motor, a lot of skill, and a mindset for getting better, Kieffer figures to be one of the top players in this class for years to come.     Londyn is a talented point guard competing for Sanford Sports this summer and on the rise for the future of Mitchell Kernel basketball. She handles the ball well and is a play-maker with impressive vision, effective moves, and the ability to knock down open shots. She is a solid perimeter defender and plays the game with a competitive spirit. Only getting better keep your eye on Londyn as one of the top PG's in the Class of 2028!     Emma's evaluation was recently completed at the [program_tooltip program_id='787122' first='Sanford' last='Sports Academy']'s "Who's Next Combine" as she impressed scouts and coaches with high level play all day long at the event. She has great footwork and body control and uses her basketball smarts to get in good positions to score both off the dribble and without the ball in her hands. She has quick handles, effective dribble moves, and changes speeds better than anyone in this class. A shifty game with really solid handling and shooting technique, this young lady gets it done on offense. Defensively she is a competitive athlete who puts pressure on the ball, anticipates well to move with the ball, and plays with a ton of heart.     Kamryn is an already polished point guard coming into just her freshman season. She has elite vision, really effective ball handling skills, and the ability to score herself or create for her teammates. She is already putting up big numbers in points, assists, and steals at the varsity level and is going to be one of the most polished floor generals in this class. She plays the game with a lot of intensity and is a scrappy defender who wreaks havoc on opposing guards. A fun player to watch with a competitive spirit we look forward to covering this young lady's game for the next 4 years!     McLellan has vital varsity experience after being called up to the varsity level already at a young age. She has a really solid perimeter game with ball-handling ability, court vision, and the ability to make plays for both herself and others. On defense, she can defend the perimeter with solid closeouts and the ability to contain the dribble. All the traits you look for in a point guard keep your eye on Kami as she continues to develop her skills!
