I love it when our girls from the state get noticed. I mean it makes me proud for a couple of reasons. For one, it continues to put our game on the map. Secondly, I love how our girls will do whatever it takes to do the necessary steps to make it to the next level. Thirdly, I love how our girls go out and seek competition.

In this article, we highlight the individuals who are taking the individual route to compete in this event.. These girls were a few of the 300 chosen to be front in center and put on a team that was put together. They will go through drills and competition games in front of collegiate coaches. Not only is this a great way to increase their stock, but to go out and make a name for themselves. It shows coaches how they can adapt and be placed within different environments with people they may not know and still excel.

Here are the young ladies who took the individual paths for this event this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='290719' first='Harmonie' last='Ware'] (5'10/Sr./G/ Bradley Central)- A hard nosed competitor who is a phenomenal two-way player. This kid has ice in her veins as she excels on the big stage. No matter if it's at the state tournament or a big-time region or rival game, this kid comes to play. A 3 level scoring threat who prides herself not only on the offensive end, but the defensive end as well. She is a nuisance, making it tough for opponents to score on her. Her ability to score the rock is crazy good. She can pull up in transition, shoot from the catch n shoot position, finish through contact around the rim, and so much more. A phenomenal talent who continues to excel each and every year.

[player_tooltip player_id='810671' first='Harper' last='Kate Miles'] (5'4/ Sr./G/ Goodpasture)- Don't let the size fool you, this kid is a selfless player who loves competition. A heady basketball player who can shoot it from the arc at a consistent clip. She uses her speed and quickness to help create chaos on the defensive end. She gets steals, deflections, is a solid trapper when her number is called. This kid plays with a lot of confidence, and doesn't flinch when given the opportunity to shoot it. SHe has grown over the years and her role has increased with her Goodpasture squad. A solid talent who is poised for a breakout year.

[player_tooltip player_id='408996' first='TaTianna' last='Stovall'] (6'1/Sr./F/ Bradley Central)- I will always say this, but she is the most selfless player in the state. A versatile forward that can play and be used anywhere on the floor. She can attack from the perimeter, clean up on the glass, unleash a nice mid-range game, has solid handles that enable her to get to her spots on the offensive end. Super tough defender who will always look to shut down the opposition's best player. She can guard guards, bang with posts, but her versatility creates mismatches that are hard to exploit. Blessed with great size and an incredible wing span, this kid is legit and is very coachable. She has so many good qualities, just solid all around. I will say this, she is a hungry, determined individual who is passionate for the game of basketball. A phenomenal prospect with a bright future.
