Anything from hard work, luck, favorable draws, timing, execution, really anything and everything must be clicking on all cylinders. To win the state, you must possess so much: grit, luck that you are healthy, everyone must be on the same page, and many other factors that sometimes may or may not be in your control. You must control what you can, but overall execution on every possession is a must. The young ladies who are blessed to get this far in their careers and reach the pinnacle of this opportunity put countless hours into the gym. Yes, there are some things that go their way, but truly, it's their hard work, determination, and work ethic that make this possibility a reality.

Prep Hoops would like to announce their TSSAA All-State Tournament Team for the 2025-26 private school sector. These young ladies may or may not have won the gold ball, but their level of play set the standard for their team to shine.

Here are some young ladies who get the nod for having an astonishing state finals round.

In 2 games, she had 55 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals, and 1 block. Her level of play has become unique in the high school realm. There are very few who have put up numbers and accumulated accolades early in their career like this young lady. She still has room to grow and more things to accomplish. She is putting together an impressive body of work that will leave a lasting legacy for years to come.

In 2 games, she had 37 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. We all know about her abilities, but it's her mental makeup that sets her apart from others. She doesn't sweat the crunch time moments. In fact, this is where she excels as she digs deep and rises to the occasion. She has handled many different outcomes over her career. This season, when things looked down, she stepped up and delivered for her club. Clemson is getting a gamer and one who they can turn to when the chips are down.

In 2 games, she had 41 points, 20 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals. This young lady knows how to utilize her athleticism to exploit an opponent's weakness. She is a heady ball player who hunts great shots. She plays her role well and just gets after it on every possession. It doesn't matter the score or who the opponent is; this kid plays with relentless energy, giving it her all. A tough competitor who is destined to become a solid addition at the next level, whether it be on the hardwood or the pitch.

In 2 games, she had 37 points, 17 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 blocks.A solid ball player who knows when to strike. Early in her career, she was learning how to utilize her size to her advantage. When she found her footing, she did nothing but dominate, especially for the last two years. She knows when to use certain moves, knows when to counter, has a great feel for pressure, and contributes to multiple phases of the game. She has become comfortable in her role and has added things to her game along the way. She has done nothing but play MVP-caliber basketball all season. Samford is getting a great foundational piece to their program.

In 2 games, she had 22 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists, 6 steals, and 2 blocks. This kid just plays ball at another level. She is one who accepts all challenges and does her best to excel. If she fails at something, she's going to come right back even stronger. Ava is a leader who makes everyone else around her better. She doesn't see weaknesses, but uses one strength as an asset. The Lipscomb program overcame some obstacles this past season to get right back to the state with a different cast of hoopers. No sweat, they had a leader who steered the ship the entire way. She is going to be a solid piece at Western Carolina. A pg who can score but also run an offense efficiently and effectively.

In 2 games, she had 22 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists. She is not a focal point, but the glue to this Lady Lions program. She just plays and does so with relentless energy. A selfless ballplayer who just does her assignment and executes it to the fullest. She finds ways to impact the game. It could be doing the little things, such as setting a screen to get someone open, or making an extra effort to play to acquire the ball. Her hard work and determination go unnoticed because she always strikes at the right moment.
