Many of these young ladies have articles written on by my colleagues from Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. These players are the Impact Players that I saw this past weekend at I-35 Showcase in Kansas. Many of them I am seeing for the first time in person as we follow each other on social media. So I would like to introduce them as well to my Oklahoma followers or any other followers that want to know who were some of the best at the event. To not over write my partners I will post some of their articles for you to read. Great job ladies and good luck rest of summer. I look forward to seeing where you will continue your careers after HS Tag or follow on X @coachjvick1 or IG @coach_jvick

Another young lady that I got to see for the first time that impressed me. It had me looking online to do some more research. I believe what stood out was her back to the basket game. Very seldom do you see a post be able to turn over either shoulder scoring a turn around shot. Usually it's over the left or right Lydia was very effective over either one. I could see a match up problem for some as she knocked down the high post shot. The lift and mechanics on the shot make it very hard for the opposing defense to block

Great hands, long reach and hops made it easy for the guards to throw it towards the glass and let her climb to go get it. An excellent rebounder that cleaned up allot scoring on many putbacks. Great timing and quick jumping allowed her to block many shots without fouling. A 2025 that I will be following to see where she goes after playing high school Check her out

First time seeing Brielle play like most of the out of state kids that attended the event this past weekend. Sometimes when you walk into the gym to watch a certain team a player from the other team just stands out. Brielle Mays is that kid that shined the whole game I watched. A lefty point guard that can score in 3 ways. A nice stroke from beyond the arch that was very consistent. Then when you run her off the line she has the strength and body control to take the hit for And 1. Lastly she can stop on a drive to the rim and rise up for a mid range jumper.

Defensively just as good as offensively making her game complete. A 2027 that I will be following to see how she does the rest of the summer and upcoming school season. Enjoyed watching this young lady ball.

Brooklyn is an incoming freshman that can compete among the older classes at a high level. An outstanding scorer that has an amazing skill set for a 2028. Great ball handler in the open court looking to push the dribble or pass. A knockdown shooter from the 3 point range. You can tell time has been put in the gym with the footwork on the catch/shoot or off the dribble.

At 5'10 she has great size at the combo guard position. Following Brooklyn on social media I knew she can put up numbers like 40 points in a middle school game. After watching her play 16u this past weekend point taken this young lady can just flat out score. When you speak of the talented incoming 2028 class Brooklyn name will be among the top. My partner Sam dropped an article on Brooklyn check it out

First time watching Maddie play in person and I understand why this young lady is ranked among the best in Kansas. Following her on social media I always have seen her working out or playing against the guys improving her game. At 6'1 that can shoot the 3 or put low post turn around jumper on you. I will say was impressive to see.

I am not going to say anything new that has not already been said about Maddie. She has offers from Big 12, SEC and other Power 5 programs. Sometimes you know a player has put in the work and when you see them play just relax and watch them go to work. To my followers from Oklahoma she does have offers from OSU and OU. I put those in no certain orders either lol Check her out she can play

I walked into the gym to watch an Oklahoma team against Next Level 17u Saturday and one player stood out [player_tooltip player_id='719101' first='Macayla' last='Askew']. A outstanding scorer that just plays the game with a smoothness about her. Meaning her points come in many ways. It could be a 3, drive to the bucket or jumping out of the gym for a offense rebound putback. So she got me doing some research and this young lady went to work in the State Playoffs last season.

Listed as a small forward but I watched her handle the ball against pressure. Knock down a smooth 3 pointer when left open or defense backed off. Rebounded like a power forward grabbing the ball out of air. A fierce rebounder at that meaning that old school rebound where you hear leather pop and no one is taking that rebound away.

Enjoyed watching one of the best players Class 2026 in Kansas play. I am not speaking anything new if you had seen her paly before but she got me following to watch her recruiting process. To my Oklahoma followers or anyone else you may want to check her out. My guys in Kanas are all over it

Reagan at 6'2 is listed as a small forward but that is just a number this young lady can play anywhere on the court. I witness her get hot from the 3 point knocking down several in a row . Next time down she was posting up scoring on a nice over the left shoulder move. Nice handles and good vision against the press made her an option in the middle or the press breaker.

Defensively she has great understanding of help added with her length made it a possible block every time someone drove to the rim. Check her stats out for the school season and Reagan almost averaged a double double. A prospect that I saw coaches take notice this weekend. Check out my collogue Sam Article from Saturday.
