Morgan State hosted a Team Camp over the weekend and one of the most impressive teams in the event was [program_tooltip program_id='750645' first='Team' last='Melo']'s Junior EYBL Squad. They got some bump against varsity teams and held their own in both contests. They have a deep, talented roster and should be fun to watch grow.

Maggie has excellent size and length at 5'11". She showed off her range by knocking down several threes and attacked close-outs aggressively by finishing at the rim or hitting mid-range shots. She played good on ball defense and showed great instincts in passing lanes and help defense. She is headed to Liberty High in the fall where should step right into some varsity minutes.

Strong shooting guard with an explosive first step. She is a lefty but plays right-handed. I like that she plays off two feet and has a nice mid-range pull up in her arsenal. She made a ridiculous reverse lay-up in traffic that has me excited to watch her game grow. She is headed to St. Frances Academy in the fall.

Deam is an intense competitor who really brings it on defense. She has great footwork and really makes it hard for ball handlers to get past her. She's an excellent ball handler with good court awareness so she excels at creating offense for her teammates. She's able to deliver accurate passes and she kept the team organized on offense. When it's time to score she can do that with the best of them. She has range out past the 3-point line and a nice bag of finishing moves. She's on the radar of every high school in the area.

Briar Rose has good size and brings a ton of activity on both ends of the court. She's a bit raw but is passionate and vocal. I like how she encourages her teammates and kept a positive attitude the whole day. She is headed to Pikesville in the fall.

Ara is about 5'11" and has good length. She caught my eye with her activity on the glass, especially on offense where she created multiple extra opportunities for her team. She's also a bit raw but she showed the ability to catch in finish at the basket.
