Schools from different geographic locations competed on campus to give spectators a wonderful day of basketball. Here are a few prospects who stood out during their time on the court.
Olivia brought her best to MSU Team Camp and proved why she is a top 5 CG prospect in the class. She was determined on both sides of the ball, creating steals, and hitting the deck for 50/50 balls. Olivia was a fierce competitor at camp and refused to quit on a play. She finished off two in the paint, drained 3s, and hit free throws with textbook technique. One of her best plays happened when she caught a pass in the high post, used a forward pivot, and beat her defender off the dribble for a layup.

Mya Stahr Mya Stahr 5'9" | SG Carleton Airport | 2028 MI is an incoming freshman for Airport to be excited about and she showed her high potential at MSU Team Camp last week. Mya knocked down multiple 3s from different spots and attacked off the dribble to convert multiple floaters with a soft touch in the paint. Her length and skill as a ball-handler give her great potential and Mya is a guard we would enjoy seeing again at our Freshman Showcase on August 25th.
Charlotte Eastmann
Charlotte Eastmann
Charlotte Eastmann had a good day for PHN at MSU Team Camp on Wednesday. She shoots from a balanced platform, draining three straightaway 3s and showing good ball-handling to beat her defender with a crossover spin dribble combo move. She added a steal on defense and forced a foul on her drive.
Kate put up a complete performance for PHN at MSU Team Camp on Wednesday and was the clear leader on both ends for her team. She backed down her defender and then drop-stepped to finish off two. Kate scored a full-speed left layup off a turnover and created many steals with her pressure. Kate added a floater and sent her defender falling to the floor with a quick crossover dribble.

Shannon is a versatile guard for PHN and she made key plays to help her team succeed at MSU Team Camp on Wednesday. Shannon knocked down a floater off two and added a finish off two near the basket. She added two straightaway 3s and a steal on the defensive end.
Caitlyn Matelski
Caitlyn Matelski
Caitlyn Matelski is an under-the-radar Northern Michigan prospect who I was excited to see compete in person at MSU Team Camp on Wednesday. She earned Big North All-Conference 1st Team Honors averaging a double-double in pts/rebounds and 2 blocks per game. At MSU, she blocked shots, secured offensive rebounds, and scored a smooth drop step baby hook off two. Caitlyn pushed the ball in transition up the sidelines and delivered an assist. She is a forward college coaches need to watch.
Lauren LaHaie
Lauren LaHaie
Lauren LaHaie earned Big North Conference All-Conference HM last season and she showed her ability to impact games at MSU Team Camp on Wednesday. Lauren dribble into a wing 3, knocked down free throws, and attacked downhill off the dribble. She delivered strong passes to teammates sideline to sideline and handled the ball well with both hands. Lauren showed good vision to drive and draw a help defender, then dished an on-target bounce pass to her teammate. She created steals and finished a left layup off two. Lauren is a guard with potential at Petoskey.
