Northwood Team Camp: Guards with Game

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Northwood University hosted its second high school team camp on July 16-18th with teams from different regions of Michigan competing on campus. There was a fantastic variety of teams attending from all across Michigan and the OT Tournament continues to be a staple of the camp. She converted a tough reverse layup through contact and made a long lead pass on the money in transition. Allie used verbal communication to guide teammates on defense and showed her closeout speed to block a shot on the perimeter. She swiped the ball away on defense and attacked downhill to draw the help then created an open shot for her teammate with an effective bounce pass. Caroline scored off two in the paint, celebrated her teammate's success, and worked for offensive rebounds. She shot lights out from beyond the arc, hitting many deep triples from different spots on the floor; one of her best came when she used a jab step and then confidently fired away. Mackenzie sent her opponent tumbling to the floor with a strong boxout and made great reads/cuts off the ball. She drove hard to the basket, scoring a fearless layup through contact and playing through pain. Katelyn knocked down 3s from the corner and the wing then scored many layups in transition after creating steals.
