On June 17th and 18th, the Section 7 Legacy Foundation AZ Showcase occurred at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. This event allowed 26 girls teams from around the state to show what they could do.

Here I, look at some of the standouts:

[player_tooltip player_id='689062' first='Morgan' last='Van Dyke'] Paradise Honors

Morgan came out and showed her full offensive package. She hit deep threes and got to the paint at will. She was vocal and led her team to the championship of their bracket.

[player_tooltip player_id='639463' first='Eva' last='Vicki Amenhauser'] Estrella Foothills

Amenhauser was a force that could not be contained throughout the event. Eva established excellent position in the paint and was still effective despite being double-teamed. She not only scored but passed very well out of the double team.

[player_tooltip player_id='921154' first='Addie' last='Prisciandaro'] Prescott

The Badgers point guard stepped up even more, with the team missing their leading scorer. She handled the ball well and fed her teammates with very good passes. Addie also displayed a nice touch from the three-point range.

[player_tooltip player_id='754698' first='Peyton' last='Schiltz'] Horizon

Peyton led a young Huskies squad to a good showing. She did a good job balancing getting her own shots and getting her teammates involved. She has a nice handle and plays at a good pace. Schiltz impacted the games even when she didn't shoot well.

[player_tooltip player_id='558928' first='Isabella' last='Webb'] Mica Mountain

The senior guard is a terror and played confidently. She knows what her team needs from her and gives them just that. She rebounded well, attacked the rim, and had some nice passes. She sometimes sacrificed her offense to make the right passes when double-teamed.

[player_tooltip player_id='847114' first='Chanel' last='Yellowman'] Estrella Foothills

Chanel played a very nice floor game as the lead guard for the Wolves. She knew when to push the tempo and when to pull the ball out and run the offense. She played very good on the ball and team defense and collecting multiple steals.
