The Class of 2026 in Indiana has put together quite the résumé this Spring, collectively picking up a great deal of interest and offers from a variety of universities. For anyone who pays attention, it has been a strong class for some time, but now it has a chance to rival the 2016 class that included Jackie Young, Tyasha Harris, Lindsey Corsaro, and other talented ladies. 2026 is not only a talented class, but it is also a very deep class. Below is a "FAST FIVE" look at some quick notes on the power forward and center groups in 2026, followed by the positional rankings for the ladies located in our new Top-75 overall for 2026.

- Washington's [player_tooltip player_id='486519' first='Katie' last='Reed'] seems to take big steps in her development just about each season, and this Spring she has looked so much more comfortable around the perimeter. You could see flashes of it coming last Fall, but her newfound ability to put it on the floor and attack, stop and hit the 15-foot pull-up, or catch and shoot from 3-point range makes her the ultimate threat. She has size, athleticism, and now skill you have to defend at all three levels.

- Speaking of a high skill level, [player_tooltip player_id='492324' first='Madalynn' last='Shirley'] of Evansville Central has always checked that box. She has worked so hard at being a good shooter at each level, plus she has great hands, good footwork, and countermoves to her countermoves. Whether she's posting smaller defenders on the box, shooting it or attacking from the mid-post, or consistently knocking down the 3-pointer, she is a really nice inside-out weapon.

- One of the best parts of seeing players in different environments is, they don't always look the same everywhere. Case in point is [player_tooltip player_id='928873' first='Sammy' last='Clark'] from Brownsburg. At the IBCA team showcase event a couple of weeks back, she was extremely active and involved, but she was also able to show off her athleticism, bounce, and nice face-up '4' skillset from the mid-post to near the perimeter. She could have a big July ahead of her.

- Another new addition to the 2026 list is [player_tooltip player_id='928878' first='Marley' last='Jeffers'] of Pike. She was another one who shined at the IBCA team showcase. She has a strong, athletic frame, she runs and jumps well, and she has a rugged and aggressive mid-post and in sort of game. She's a nice pursuing rebounder, she can defend multiple frontline positions, and she competes to win each possession. She'll be one to watch out for during the 2024-2025 season.

- The hardest thing to project sometimes are "bigs", because they all grow and develop their games at different rates. [player_tooltip player_id='624875' first='Laila' last='Brown'] at Ben Davis is a nice example of a prospect with a high ceiling. She has an athletic frame, some strength, great length, and she can get out and run the floor. She is still developing a skillset and some finesse inside of 15-feet, but as that comes, she already has some nice athletic tools to pair with improved skill.

- [player_tooltip player_id='761157' first='Savannah' last='Walker'] is another member of that talented 2026 Homestead group. However, she is taking the rare path of not playing for her high school team. She is long, wiry-strong, and bouncy. She has some touch facing the basket to about 17-feet, she can put it on the floor a dribble or two and get somewhere productively, and she is a rim protector defensively. She has been really good this Spring, and she has picked up offers/interest.
