She is a versatile player for this team who can play as well as defend any position on the floor. Her versatility comes along with a lot of toughness as well. This young lady does a great job setting the tone for competitive excellence on this squad.</p>   <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='935888' first='Libby' last='Kranz'] - Lennox - 5'10" F</strong></p>   <p>Libby played a role last year on the varsity squad as just an 8th grader and brings a lot of talent to [program_tooltip program_id='747557' first='Team' last='Warwick'] as she gears up for the winter season. She has great length and frame and could be the most athletic player on this roster. That blend of size and athleticism bodes well for this young lady as an excellent defender with a high basketball IQ.</p>   <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='935877' first='Kamryn' last='Nesheim']- 5'4" G - Clark-Willow Lake</strong></p>   <p>Kamryn enters her freshman year with a year of starting varsity experience already under her belt. She spent last season as the starting point guard as an 8th grader and averaged 10 points per contest. She is an undersized guard but makes up for that with her competitive mindset. She is lightning quick and has the ability to blow by defenders and get to the rim and finish. She is another solid shooter on this roster as well and a pesky on ball defender who makes opposing guard's life tough.</p>   <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='935880' first='Josie' last='Biteler'] - 5'6" G - Sioux Falls Washington</strong></p>   <p>Josie is a tremendous scorer with a dynamic offensive skillset. She has a great ability to get to the rim plus gets it done from beyond the arc. She is a huge offensive threat as she not only gets it done scoring herself but has great play-making ability to deliver spot on passes to teammates as well. On the defensive end she puts extreme pressure on her opponent and has a knack for snagging multiple steals per game.</p>   <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='935883' first='Teagen' last='Sturm'] - 5'9" F - Lennox</strong></p>   <p>Teagen played a key role on the varsity squad in Lennox last year as just an 8th grader. She brings consistency to this squad and flat out gets it done in every area. She has excellent length and provides a solid presence on both ends of the floor. She is a team player and gets everyone involved on offense and understands how to help her team get quality shots.</p>   <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='935886' first='Ellie' last='Meyer']- 5'6" G - Sioux Falls O'Gorman</strong></p>   <p>Ellie is another very athletic player on this squad and is getting better every tournament this summer. She is a really solid finisher at the rim and does a good job keeping an aggressive mentality for her squad. Pair this with her ability to stretch the floor with her ability to shoot the ball and you have a big scoring threat for [program_tooltip program_id='747557' first='Team' last='Warwick'].</p>   <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Taya Christie - 5'8" F - West Lyon, IA</strong></p>   <p>Taya brings a great combination of strength and athleticism to [program_tooltip program_id='747557' first='Team' last='Warwick']. She has all the physical tools needed to succeed in the post but can hang on the perimeter as well. She can play as well as defend multiple positions and brings a lot of versatility to this squad.</p>   <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='935876' first='Ella' last='Otten'] - 5'7" G - Dakota Valley</strong></p>   <p>Ella is a young kid with a lot of varsity experience already. She started last year as an 8th grader, averaged nearly 18 ppg and was a Class A All-State Honorable Mention. Loaded with potential when she gets it going she is a really talented guard. She has excellent ball skills that allow her to get to the rim with ease and she shoots the 3 at a high percentage. Keep your eye on this kid over the next 4 years!</p>   <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='935890' first='Nya' last='Vellema'] - 5'6" G - Brandon Valley</strong></p>   <p>Nya is a talented guard for the Lynx of Brandon Valley and brings a solid scorer to the team. She is a great shooter and has a very high basketball IQ at a young age. Defensively she is a solid on-ball defender who does an excellent job of applying pressure and keeping her girl in front of her body.</p>   <p></p>   <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Coach's Comments: </strong></p>   <p>"This squad as gotten so much better as the spring/summer progresses.   This team is really full of athletes.    Most of these girls play multiple sports and are extremely successful in them.  4 of our girls played varsity basketball as an 8<sup>th</sup> grader with 3 of them starting for their high school team.  </p>   <p>We have played very good team ball that last 3 tournaments with the girls making the extra pass and finding the open player. </p>   <p>All of these girls shoot the ball at a very high percentage from 3 point line plus they all have the skill set to get to the rim.   So it is really hard for teams to just try to stop 1 or 2 players.    Defensively we have gotten really good at it.  The girls have really figured out how hard you actually have to play to be successful at the next level. </p>   <p>I thought we played extremely well in Des Moines at the Battle of the Best only losing to the top All Iowa Attack 14U team.   In Sioux City we played up 2 divisions and won."  </p>
