23-24 stats: 11.4 PPG, 10 RPG, 1.2 APG, .7 SPG, 3.3 BPG, 2.2 TPG

[player_tooltip player_id='582813' first='Ellie' last='Muller'] ended her AAU season playing up with the Nationally ranked [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] 17U EYBL in hopes of helping them secure a title. In the end, they happen to fall just short and Muller's minutes were few but this set her up to be their starting Center next Summer when they come back together to compete again. Muller is a Power-5 talent, that stands at just over 6'3. As you can imagine, she is a difference maker on any floor she steps onto with her height and that is sure to be prevalent this upcoming season once again at Dowling Catholic. If Ellie, her sister, and [player_tooltip player_id='311396' first='Ava' last='Zediker'] play their game, they could bring home a 5A State Title come the start of 2025 but we will just have to wait and see. As for Muller individually, I'm sure she will be a standout all Winter long, leading into another go around with the Attack program in 2025.

23-24 stats: 5 PPG, 8.7 RPG, .3 APG, .4 SPG, 2.5 BPG, 2.3 TPG

Last Winter at Marshalltown High School, [player_tooltip player_id='832207' first='Frankie' last='Long'] put together a respectable season for her Freshman year on the Varsity floor and she is looking to build on that over this next eight months. Long is ironically lengthy with some great height to pair along with it at 6'1. She was someone that did a great job of coming into her own last season as the year went on and she is going to be able to expand on that this Winter if she works hard enough. I would assume that she is going to average around a double-double in Points-Rebounds and that will just be the tip of the iceberg in the grand scheme of things.

23-24 stats: 2.3 PPG, 7.6 RPG, 1.5 APG, 2.5 SPG, .5 BPG, 5 TPG

You can tell that the 2027 Class in Iowa is full of highly respected prospects, that bring a lot of different abilities to the floor. A statistic that they seem to definitely standout is rebounding. Someone else from this Class, that put together a year she can build on last Winter is [player_tooltip player_id='777228' first='Haylie' last='Weinheimer'] of Des Moines North High School. Weinheimer is going to have a chance to step up this year and be an even bigger part of her Polar Bears team. She will be looked upon to score a little bit more this time around and if she can do that, while continuing to rebound just how she did a year ago, she will end this Winter with some of the highest averaging numbers per game once again in some categories.

23-24 stats: 9.3 PPG, 7.4 RPG, .9 APG, .6 SPG, .4 BPG, 2 TPG

There is a lot of exceptions about [player_tooltip player_id='642075' first='Lillie' last='Spicer'] this upcoming season. Spicer comes to us from CR - Jefferson High School and she has proven that she is force to deal with at the Varsity level this past year. Spicer is someone that has physical prowess, a soft touch on the ball, solid situational awareness, and she competes hard but this next year she needs to prove more to everyone watching if she wants to take things to the next level eventually. If she can take the floor and demonstrate a few counter moves, a lock down defensive ability, all while doing what usually stuff she does, she will be someone that college recruiters will love to talk to moving into the Spring AAU season in 2025. This is someone that has a high ceiling right now, she just needs to continue to keep working to unlock it.

23-24 stats: 4.3 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 1.6 APG, 1.8 SPG, 1.9 BPG, 4.7 TPG

The other rebounding force on the Des Moines North Polar Bears team returns to us in the form of 5'11, [player_tooltip player_id='998751' first='Alual' last='Kual']. Kual was the other prospect last Winter that patrolled the painted area for her squad, in attempts to help protect their hoop on defense, while scoring effectively on offense. She averaged some decent numbers but just like everyone in this article, she will be expected to do a little bit more this upcoming season if she wants to see some major results. Her rebounding numbers are fantastic, she will just need to stay aggressive offensively, while continuing to pass, block, and deflect the ball from the opposing team. If she does that, I'm sure her numbers will reflect it over this next six months and then we can really start talking about her possible recruitment to the next level.
