Below are five returning uncommitted prospects that will be returning to the D1 Class this upcoming Winter at the Varsity level. Each player listed is someone that shot and scored major numbers last Winter, averaging a high amount of PPG with whatever perspective Varsity program they were competing with.

When I first watched [player_tooltip player_id='316642' first='Taryn' last='Ottemann'] compete last Fall during out PGH Showcase in Omaha, she stood out as someone that can bring some positivity and balance to the floor. Ottemann competes at the Forward position and she seems to hold her own against any competition. I have yet to see a situation where she is completely outmatched by whoever is lining up across from her and that is promising in the grand scheme of things. As a Junior last Winter, Otteman led her 2025 Class in RPG for the D1 Class. As long as she continues to work hard and stays in love with the game of basketball, i'd expect some similar numbers over these next six months and leading into college, if that's the route she chooses to take at the end of the day.

[player_tooltip player_id='824276' first='Lydia' last='Robertson'] is someone that not only stands out when she is competing on the hardwood but she also stands out while attack the net on the Volleyball court as well. Robertson has better than average skill for her position but you can tell that she makes a living off of her athletic ability and knowledge of the game. Not only is she athletic, she understands where the ball is going to come off of the rim at an impressive rate and that sticks with you. Robertson is going to have a choice to make, if she wants to play collegiate Basketball or Volleyball at the end of the day and whatever she picks, she should thrive. That same athletic ability she has is going to carry her and that will translate, no matter what she sport she is competing in.

[player_tooltip player_id='766576' first='Taya' last='Pinneo'] of Shelby-Rising City High School is someone that might only stand at 5'4-5'5 but her play-style speaks volumes to who she is as a competitor. This is one of the only PG's ranked in the Top 25 for PPG, demonstrating her ability to not only create and facilitate others but her ability to create for herself in both the half or full courts in transition. This Winter Pinneo is going to build on what she did for her Junior season when she averaged 16 PPG, 3.3 RPG, and 1.3 APG. As long as everyone on her team comes correct and she continues to do her thing, I'm sure this is someone that we will hear more and more about as her Senior season comes to a close. She has been a difference maker for her program the last three years and that won't change this Winter.

One of the more underrated, yet promising prospects from the 2026 Class in Nebraska is CG, [player_tooltip player_id='757569' first='Taryn' last='Arbuthnot'] of Sumner-Eddyville-Miller High School. Arbuthnot is going to be walking into her Junior season of Varsity ball and she is going to be looked upon to produce in some important ways throughout the 2024-2025 High School season. Obviously she is going to be asked to score the rock but she will also be asked to step up to rebound, assist, and defend some of the best prospects from the opposing team. If she can step up and do this while producing points on the offensive side of the ball, she is going to to put together a Winter with quite the stat line. There is really no other way to put it.

[player_tooltip player_id='766748' first='Isabelle' last='Reichman'] of South Platte High School is an intriguing prospect that put up respectable numbers last season for her Junior year at the Varsity level. Reichman is going to have an important upcoming season. If she were to go out and put up some alike numbers, while leading her team to a lot of success, I think she will show enough collegiate recruiters that should could compete at that D3/NAIA/JUCO level, depending on the situation. I haven't seen too much of Reichman live so I don't want to over-sell her ability but it's definitely there and she should be able to build on that at least one more time for her last go-around at South Platte.
