Below are five returning uncommitted prospects that will be returning to the D2 Class this upcoming Winter at the Varsity level. Each player listed is someone that controlled the glass and rebounded for some major numbers last Winter, averaging a high amount of RPG with whatever perspective Varsity program they were competing with.

The constant and steady expansion of [player_tooltip player_id='758812' first='Julia' last='Russell']'s game has been noticeable between the past two Varsity seasons and she looks to build on that some more throughout these next six months. Russell was tied for the led for RPG in the D2 Class last Winter, no matter age or Class level. Between Russell's Freshman and Sophomore seasons, she shows noticeable growth, while being steady producer on the glass in every situation. The hope this Winter will be that she can do the same this upcoming campaign as she helps lead her team to an overall better record in the grand scheme of things. Something that is more than possible at this point in the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='824284' first='Gavin' last='Gilmore'] was a major rebounder on the defensive side of the ball last Winter, grabbing 11.1 RPG throughout her 21 game season. This Winter at Hampton, Gilmore will be called upon once again to be their anchor in the middle as she defends, rebounds, and manages the middle. Along with her 11.1 RPG, she also averaged double-digits in Scoring with a solid number in the Assist and Steals. She is someone that demonstrates a versatile play-style with her mixture of length and agile movement. So it'll be fun to see what see what she can do for her last go around this upcoming Winter.

The D2 Class is the smallest high school Class out of the state as it pertains to high school basketball so sometimes you have players that are standout rebounders, even though their position and size might not scream that originally. Someone that falls into this category is 2027 SG, [player_tooltip player_id='865324' first='Leeigh' last='McGowan'] of Banner County. McGowan is a 5'4 SG, that understands her position, what she can bring to the floor ability-wise, and some elite confidence for a prospect of her age level. I would watch out for McGowan to turn out to be one of the best 2027 prospects in the D2 Class by the end of her career. As a Freshman she averaged solid numbers and she is should surely could build on that over the next couple of years.

[player_tooltip player_id='820523' first='Elie' last='Bstandig'] is someone that embodies what it means to be an undersized Center on the hardwood. Bstandig only comes in at 5'10 but she holds her own in every statistical category near the basket or in the painted area on either side of the basketball. The past two season, Bstandig has been a constant for her high school team. I really need to see her more to dive deep into her play-style but if the past two years have been any indiction of what she can do, she is going to be just fine these next two seasons at the Varsity level, while standing out every once in a while in the meantime.

One of the taller and more dominating players out of the 2025 Class that is still uncommitted is [player_tooltip player_id='766584' first='Madison' last='Bunger'] of Wilcox-Hildreth. Bunger comes in at 6'0, she puts up productive numbers, she communicates well with the others around her, she has a good mixture of a soft touch and balance, and she always seem to show up in big moments at her position. This is a prospect that comes into this Fall as a Top 25 rated talent and that speaks to what I think her outcome could look like if put in the correct situation down the line at the next level.
