Now that the Spring & Summer grassroots season is in the past, and student-athletes are preparing to return to their regular school schedules, I wanted to take the time to highlight a handful of 2025 prospects who I feel are still under-recruited and offer a great deal of value for the next level. The following prospects are not included on the lists on PGH Indiana at the moment, but they are all worth a look by Midwestern small colleges.

I felt like Zoie was solid throughout the Spring, but she was even better during the final stretch of July. She is a strong, physical forward who can play at all three levels. She has some touch from the perimeter, and she can attack the basket North/South. She is really good in the mid-post as well, plus she's an effective rebounder. Defensively, she is probably better inside of the arc, but she does have the flexibility to also defend some bigger wings.

From the moment you first see Shaniyah, it's obvious how she can stand out. She is one of the best run-and-jump athletes in the state in the 2025 class. She has an athletic frame, length, but it's her nonstop motor and physical talent that help her make plays in games. She still needs work on her ball skill and shooting, but she can grab rebound after rebound, score just about anywhere inside of 15-feet, plus she can defend bigger guards, wings, and forwards, and she will create turnovers and block shots.

Hamilton Southeastern is loaded with talent, but they also have a really nice 2025 class with several blue-collared prospects. Kenley is one of those, and she put together a solid grassroots season. She is long and wiry, fluidly athletic, and she has some bounce to her. Defensively, she can take on bigger wings or forwards, but offensively, she is probably more of a mid-post forward. She can knock down the 15-footer, she's good in pick-and-roll situations, plus she is an active offensive rebounder inside the paint.

Anyah has spent the last couple of years becoming an extremely strong/powerful and physical guard. She isn't very tall for the way she plays, but she also outplays her height. She is a nice North/South athlete with a little quickness to her game, and she is a multilevel scorer. She can knock down an open rhythm jumper, but she's much better putting it on the floor and making plays. Defensively, she works at it and does a nice job using her frame. I also like her willingness to rebound her position.

There are a ton of 5-8 to 5-11 forwards in this 2025 class, and Cella is a really nice, tough-nosed, high-motor, and skillful forward who could eventually become an impact player at the small college level. She has an athletic frame, she runs the floor well end-to-end, and she will do a lot of the "little things", like getting on the floor or taking charges. She can defend multiple types of players, plus she is a very active rebounder with a nose for the ball.

Lyllee is a really nice small school post. She has great length, a wiry strength to her frame, plus she plays hard and seeks physicality. She has grown throughout high school, so she still has some fluidity issues to work through, but I think that will come as she gains more strength and plays more. She has solid hands, and she looks like she has absorbed coaching, as you can see her work through proper post moves and footwork after the catch. Once that becomes instinctive, she could be a problem. Defensively, she blocks/affects a lot of shots.

Mya used the Spring & Summer to go from a bit of an unknown to a productive, recruitable prospect on the wing at the small college level. She is a strong, somewhat physical guard, and she's a solid North/South athlete who can get out and go in transition. She has some ball skill, but I think she's more of a shooter/scorer than a playmaker for others. She plays with a nice motor, she rebounds her position well, and she's willing to mix it up defensively as well.
