Hidden Gems From The Kentucky Freshman Showcase

These players did all the little things to help their teams compete. In the game I watched she nailed two triples and both of them hit nothing but nylon. Anna did a good job getting her teammates involved as well. She made a good effort to contest shots at the perimeter on defense and even got a hand on one. Greta was aggressive off the dribble and finished well at the rim. She scored from all three levels, crashed the boards, and facilitated the ball extremely well. Her size and length worked in her favor on defense; she picked away steals and blocked a shots. She is a volume shooter that can connect from the mid-range and from three. I was impressed with her ability to stop and pop on the fast break and the body control she showed on a "And 1" play.
