Little Guards, Big Impact: 5 Unsigned 2025 Prospects

In every class there is a crop of quality guards that, as seniors, remain unsigned for various reasons. Some of these players have offers and others do not, but they all have the ability to be significant contributors at the right school. Check out these names, share them with others, you'll be glad you did.    Payton is a two-time state champion with Roosevelt High School and a flat-out winner. She is a competitor who does all the little things that make a big difference when it comes to impacting a game. Payton flies around the court with crazy quickness providing steals, transition assists, and finishes. She has great vision, consistently seeing help defenders and making the right play when attacking the rim. She possesses offers from Park University, McPherson College & Texas A&M-Texarkana.     Kenna is a pure point guard with a high basketball IQ. She is truly a swiss army knife because she can impact the game in so many ways. Kenna is a quality ball handler, willing and effective passer, and lockdown defender who loves to pressure full court. Another attribute that sets Kenna apart is rebounding. She averaged 4 rebounds per game for Rocky Mountain High School last season. Kenna has offers from Augustana University, Wisconsin Lutheran College, and College of Saint Benedict.     Zoe is a fearless combo guard that plays an extremely physical brand of basketball. She is a warrior on the court and a leader in every sense of the word. Zoe goes hard to the offensive glass, doesn't miss an opportunity to be "first to the floor", and defends the other team's best guard. She can get hot from the three-point line and uses an effective floater to throw off would-be shot blockers. Zoe is great in the locker room and goes extremely hard every time her sneakers hit the floor. Zoe holds offers from Marian College, North Central University, and South Western Oklahoma State.     Darby is a crafty point guard that has an uncanny knack for controlling the tempo of any game. She has a great change of pace, frustrating defenders with her patient style. Along with being a quality ball handler, Darby can also stroke the 3 ball. Often, teams will play her for the drive because of her ability to find the open player or finish at the rim. This is when she will start lighting it up from the arc. As a junior Darby took the Mead Mavericks to the 5A final four, leading the team in both scoring and assists. She currently holds offers from Loras College and Northeastern Junior College.     Savannah is little in stature but big in heart. She is one of those players that you have to see to believe. Savannah is absolutely automatic from the three-point line. When teams make the mistake of giving her any space, she takes advantage time and time again. Defensively, Savannah is a pit bull that shows no fear. She puts lots of pressure on the ball, oftentimes causing havoc before the ball even crosses half-court. Savannah's shooting, speed, confidence, and leadership make her a legit prospect to watch out for.
