I can't overemphasize the importance because so many next-level coaches use it and I can't tell you how many calls I get for players who play like they're at "the magic number" which she does. Her timing to block shots immediately grabbed my attention. She got me with the "drop step" so let me drop #THROWBACK for that alone yet her intensity on both ends also stood out. She went AFTA everything off the rim, even outrebounded taller players and she showed she could get to the rim and finish strongly after contact. Her "on the ball" pressure immediately grabbed my attention, yeah she picked a couple of pockets but she also created havoc which led to turnovers. Her timing to block, alter, and (or) deflect shots was a huge plus but was her rebounding, on both ends.
