Thorne was a thorn in the side of defenders as she came up with big buckets several times to stop or start runs, yet her midrange looks even better than the last time I saw her, as well as her court vision, but seeing her mix it up to take the defender off the dribble helped open things up see evaluations here

Thorne is “long and athletic” which is the base, and she stands at the magic number, yet the magic begins as she creates her shot under pressure. Her midrange was clicking, “catch and shoot” looked good, so did her “stop and pop” jumper, and she scored off the dribble

#22 Up from #30
Thorne has a shot at continuing to rise based on her being “long and athletic” which will always be the base, and her ability to play multiple positions. Her jumper is solid, she scores off the dribble and plays the passing lane. She still has upside, and her “on the court” progression has continued since the first time I saw her going on 5 years ago see evaluation here

Thorne was one of the most impressive new players I caught this season, well after using my search bar, I caught her in 2020 during my All Eyez On Me Showcase see evaluation here 4 years later, she blew me away at the Super 64 and with her upside, there’s no telling how high she will continue to climb see evaluation here

Thorne also gave me a great first look and she was yet another “long and athletic” player and her mixing it up offensively was nice. She used a deceptive first step to attack the basket, she finished strongly after contact but she also did a good job creating her shot from the outside. Her midrange looked good, but so did her “catch and shoot” from deep
