Sunday's Illinois Sophomore ID Camp was a solid event from start to finish, featuring a strong group of second-year players. I will be reviewing players from all of the odd-numbered teams. We observed significant growth in many players entering their second year.

#174 [player_tooltip player_id='974168' first='Taylor' last='Henderson'] - Henderson definitely placed herself in the category of one of the most explosive players throughout the camp. In my opinion, her last game was her best; she displayed different speeds while maintaining her aggressiveness.

#183 [player_tooltip player_id='974312' first='Annika' last='Risinger'] - She has the confidence to take deep shots but also brings energy on the defensive side, capable of guarding anyone, anywhere. She stays active on the boards as well.

#228 Hayden Scott - Lengthy, mobile, and able to find her way to the basket, she also demonstrated strong vision on multiple drives.

#197 [player_tooltip player_id='974150' first='Alexis' last='Fomby'] - A heads-up player with solid IQ on both ends of the floor. She found the right angles and gaps to get to the rim and finish, while also showing the ability to knock down the long ball. A solid guard overall.

#188 [player_tooltip player_id='743599' first='Emerson' last='Nilsson'] - Emerson seemed most comfortable from the outside. She has solid handles and stays in constant motion, even without the ball.

#210 [player_tooltip player_id='881571' first='Grace' last='Wonder'] - A true ballhawk, Wonder was always wherever the ball was. She had multiple wrap-ups on players driving to the basket and is the type of player you never have to ask to give effort.

#208 [player_tooltip player_id='974151' first='Alyse' last='Mantei'] - The confidence is definitely there. Mantei knocked down some deep threes in the game I watched and even celebrated after. Players like that tend to spread their confidence to others—a must-have in the locker room.

#223 [player_tooltip player_id='974164' first='Nora' last='Schwartz'] - Nora has one of the smoothest shots I've seen in a while from younger talent. She's long and uses that length to be impactful on the defensive side as well.
