I've talked about the 2028 class a handful of times over the past couple of months. Here are some players at the PGH Freshmen showcase that I haven't had the chance to write about over the last few months.

[player_tooltip player_id='877376' first='Saige' last='Oliver'] is an exciting talent at the guard position. She has terrific length and is a complete offensive player. Saige is an excellent spot-up shooter and she is a great driver. She does a good job in transition and keeps her head up to find her teammates. She is a solid defender and after watching her a little bit for team takeover, I am sure she will be a force shortly. This weekend will be a great opportunity to leave this summer in a great spot.

Gainesville always seems to have productive underclassmen and one that I could see being a contributor this year is [player_tooltip player_id='962762' first='Addyson' last='Lawhorne']. Addyson is a smart player who does almost everything well. Addyson can play as a three or an off-ball guard. She is a plus defender and is always in the right spot offensively. Addyson has had a solid summer so this will be another chance to raise her stock.

Josiah Smalls is one of the best players you will see this weekend. I watched her a little bit at DMVlive but wished I had the opportunity to catch more of her games for McDonough. Josiah is a knockdown shooter and a fierce competitor. She can play either guard position but will be much more of a 1. She has a nice handle and is a good facilitator.

[player_tooltip player_id='912142' first='Amirah' last='Royal'] is a great Forward prospect who will turn a lot of heads this weekend. She has great size for someone just entering high school. She has a nice post-game and solid footwork. She uses her strength well and has nice touch. Amirah can get rebounds to push the ball and she does it with total control. Amirah has a mix of size and skill you don't always see at this age and she is a terrific prospect.

Gabby Hall has had a great summer and after playing JV as an 8th grader, I could see her being a contributor for Miller soon. Gabby is a great shooter, especially when she is spotting up, and she has a quick release. Gabby finishes well with either hand and is a solid passer. There isn't a hole in Gabby's game yet and she is a player to watch this weekend.
