Jozi joins the elite scoring club with a 43 point explosion in triple overtime loss against Holy Cross. She was unstoppable showcasing her full offensive arsenal knocking down three-pointers, attacking the rim off the dribble, and consistently converting at the free throw line. She is a smooth athletic guard with good size and an excellent shooting form with a good release. Defensively, she plays with discipline and awareness, displaying strong positional defense while covering significant ground as a help defender. Her motor, versatility, and scoring ability make her a constant problem for opposing defenses.

Jozi stood out from the opening of the day. She had good size for a true point guard and made excellent decisions, She very efficient doesn’t waste movements. She has a really quick first step as she is terrific jabs well out of the triple threat allowing her to gain the advantage before she even dribbles. She dominated on court one to the point she was moved to the center court to see some interesting matchups. Her defense was solid against everyone she faced.

Jozi McDuffie was another team 3 player that was fantastic attacking the rim. She had a lot of crafty finishes and pushed the ball well off of missed shots. Many of Jozi’s finishes were from tough angles and she used her length to finish over defenders. Jozi knocked down a couple of threes as well. Team 3 impressed me, and Jozi was as good as anyone on this team.

Jozi McDuffie has everything you want out of a PG at this age. She has a high IQ, has good size, and is very skilled. She can score the ball consistently and get her teammates good looks. Jozi is a great finisher and uses her athleticism and length to finish through contact. She can knock down open shots and is a plus defender. Jozi is one of the premier talents at this event and one to watch.
