While Prep Girls Hoops scouts work hard to cover as many athletes as possible, there are always players who go unnoticed or need to be unearthed.

Here is a look at five unranked athletes looking to impress scouts, and coaches, and be added to the rankings before their senior seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='1042516' first='Ellie' last='McGuire'], 5'8”, CG, Cunningham, ‘25

McGuire had a solid junior season for Cunningham. She averaged 12.8 points per game for the Wildcats. McGuire was an accurate shooter converting 33 percent from the field, 32 percent from 3-point range, and 63 percent from the free throw line. She also averaged 5.3 rebounds per contest.

[player_tooltip player_id='1042511' first='Karley' last='Ohl'], 5'7”, F, Southern Coffey County, ‘25

Ohl is a force to be reckoned with in the paint for opponents of the Titans. She fell just short of averaging a double-double as a junior. She scored 11.8 points per game and grabbed 8.3 rebounds per contest. Her production has gradually improved each season, so I expect her to have a big senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1042519' first='Teagan' last='Warner'], 5'9”, F, Southeast (Cherokee), ‘25

The Lancers have an unranked forward looking for a big senior campaign. She scored 9.9 points per game as a junior. She also averaged 5.7 rebounds in 23 games played. She scores mostly from the interior as evidenced by her shooting percentage of 43 percent from the field. She attempted just 12 three-point shots. Warner can get to the free-throw line and make opponents pay for fouling her. She shot 60-for-112 from the charity stripe.

[player_tooltip player_id='1042521' first='Hayden' last='Wark'], 5'5”, CG, Golden Plains, ‘25

Wark is athletic and feisty. She took an eye-popping number of shots as a junior. In 21 games played for the Bulldogs, she launched 229 shot attempts from the field, 101 shots from deep, and 134 freebie shots from the line. She hit 60 percent of her free-throw attempts and scored 10.8 points per game. Her peripheral numbers were solid as she also accounted for 2.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game for Golden Plains.

[player_tooltip player_id='1042525' first='Dallas' last='Sherman'], 5'6”, SF, Meade, ‘25

Sherman is another unranked talent who just missed averaging a double-double per contest. During her junior season, she scored 10.4 points and grabbed nine rebounds per contest. She can score in the front court but is not a threat from deep. She took just one 3-point shot in 24 games. She shot an impressive 45 percent from the field. She can improve her free throw shooting as she was just 40-for-83 last season.
