To understand the 2025 Class throughout Iowa, is to understand that this is the one of the deepest Classes that this state has had to offer throughout the past 10-20 years. There are considerably over 100 SOLID prospects, ranging at all sizes and positions across the state. Someone that I've seen with a lot of promise from this past year on the AAU scene is 6'2 Center, [player_tooltip player_id='674217' first='Josie' last='Kuper'] of AGWSR High School. In my opinion, Kuper could be a collegiate level prospect with her size and situational awareness of the game. One of the best attributes she possesses, is that she understands ball. She understands the X's and O's, where she needs to be at all times, where she succeeds best, and what helps her team the most in the long run. Being self-aware is something that many don't understand during high school and when you pair that with natural size, touch, and a solid motor, you get someone who can produce. Now, is she a Day 1 starter in college? I'm not sure. That would all depend on where she might end up and her personal fit at that location but if all of that lines up, she could definitely make some things happen down the road. For now though, she will lock into her upcoming Senior season with her AGWSR program!

You can question someones ability, you can question their motivates, but you can't question production. If someone produces in any situation, against any opponent they have to face, it's noteworthy. Someone that falls into this category is SF, [player_tooltip player_id='311374' first='Ashlyn' last='Davis'] of Westwood High School and [program_tooltip program_id='713001' first='United' last='Sports Academy'] AAU. Davis is a 6'0 Forward, that plays bigger than her actual size. Offensively, she is a threat to score near the basket at any given moment. Defensively, she uses her size and athletic ability to her advantage, helping her stay in front of smaller opponents, while being able to "wall" up against anyone that may be a little bigger. All in all, Davis doesn't get seen a ton but she has promise and she produces. From an outside point-of-view, that's something everyone can respect.

I really hope that [player_tooltip player_id='873160' first='Kinzee' last='Hinders'] ends up going to play at the collegiate level in some shape/form. Whether that be on the Basketball court or the Volleyball court. Hinders is a very athletic Forward, standing between 6'0-6'1. With her ability to out-jump most around her and given her natural height, you can imagine that she EATS in the Rebounding department and basically in any other category that takes place around the painted area. Over the past three seasons, Hinders has been a constant at the Varsity level for her Newell-Fonda Mustangs team and that is going to continue for one more season. Following Volleyball, she will step back onto the hardwood with the hopes of putting together a Senior season to remember.

"You can't teach height" is a phrase you hear in the sports world in a few different situations and it's true. A coach can teach a lot but no one can magically make you taller. Someone that has height, that moves really well for her height is [player_tooltip player_id='842632' first='Callie' last='Huber'] of Mid-Prairie High School. Huber is someone that is "newer" to myself but I really like her game. The best part is that she knows her role. With her size at 6'0, she can rebound at a high rate, she has physicality to matchup against anyone, and she is relentless in her pursuit of the basketball in most situations. Not to mention, she can post with her back to the basket at a thorough rate and finish over smaller or alike sized opponents. I'm not sure if Huber has any interest from the next level but she would be someone that I would take a look at if I were recruiter around the Midwest, especially in the state of Iowa.

[player_tooltip player_id='1005087' first='Brooke' last='Larsen'] of Lewis Central is prepped for a big Winter ahead with her Varsity team, following her final high school Volleyball season. Larsen is a SDSU Jackrabbits commit for Volleyball but that doesn't mean she won't put together an impressive Senior campaign on the hardwood. This is yet another prospect with better than averages size at 5'11, she is very athletic, she has a high motor, and she understands that she might have to adapt in any given moment, so that her program can find success. Larsen has always been a star for her Lewis Central team and it just wouldn't be right if she didn't finish out things the same way. This Winter she is going to put up more impressive numbers before everything is said and done. There should be no doubt about that.
