Someone new in this Update to our system, that has a ton of promise and really interesting game is PG, [player_tooltip player_id='929989' first='Zaria' last='Riley'] of Omaha North High School. Riley is a 5'6 guard, that moves between the 1 and the 2 spot on the court. From the looks of it, the teams she competes with has smaller guards around her, that can't shoot as well as her so most of the time she is playing the off-guard position but she does have the ability to handle and bring up the rock at the PG spot, if need be. Riley is very good in the aspects of catching-and-shooting from deep, while also being an able creator and passer. If she continues to add different levels of speed and body control this next few years as she expands her game, she is going to be a handful for others to deal with.

[player_tooltip player_id='988345' first='Evelyn' last='Timmons'] of Fairbury High School is an Uber-athletic multi-sport athlete, that excels not only on the hardwood as it pertains to the sport of Basketball but also on the Volleyball court a well. Timmons is the 8th ranked prospect out of her 2027 Class according to PrepDigs Nebraska and I think that just speaks to her physical ability. When you take into consideration that she stands at 6'0 and she is an outside hitter as her main position, you start to see how it could translate to the Basketball court. This Winter Timmons will look to put together a season to remember. With her mixture of athleticism, balance, and coordination, she should put up some noteworthy numbers over this next six months.

Another talented Volleyball player, that has also done well on the Varsity floor in recent past is [player_tooltip player_id='988355' first='Jacey' last='Cochran'] of Gering High School. Cochran is a 6'0 Forward, that averaged just over 5.5 PPG & 5.6 RPG last Winter in her 23 games played. This was a solid way to start off her high school career but I'm sure she is going to look to build on that moving forward. With her mixture of natural size at 6'0, her athletic ability, her touch on the ball, and her knowledge of where to be on the floor at all times, it's easy to see why she has already seen some success, with a lot more on the way.

I am really curious where [player_tooltip player_id='928979' first='Jaeli' last='Franccini'] of Benson Magnet High School is going to be able to take things. Franccini would fall into the category of a very athletic guard but not in ways you might think. Franccini excels in the endurance part of things. She can stick with her opponent in the full court for an entire game, never getting exhausted and she is someone that doesn't care if she necessarily scores the ball, as long as her team ends up winning at the final buzzer. During AAU season, Franccini competes with the [program_tooltip program_id='715719' first='Unity' last='Stars'] program our of Nebraska. This program has a handful of extremely gifted prospects, as it pertains to their individual skill-sets. I'm hoping that Franccini is going to be able to stay motivated and working in her off-seasons. She is also a State-wide Track star so at the end of the day, it might come down to picking one sport to compete with at the collegiate level but for now, she is just going to worry about the currently season right in front of her.

[player_tooltip player_id='988349' first='Kensie' last='Briley'] is an individual that is going to have a shot to be a steady producer on her Nebraska City High School Varsity team over the next three seasons, if she can lock in and really tap into her potential. Briley has some solid instincts, a balanced jump shot from all three offensive levels, and is a positive influence to those around her. For Briley to really unlock her potential, I think she needs to get angry or motivated per se. She needs to go out there every night and understand that should could be one of the most complete producers on the floor, as long as she works hard enough. Once she has that confidence, I think everything else will start to become a lot easier in the grand scheme of things. That's usually how it works.
