In helping Omaha North to the state championship game, Wilson-Smith proved her playmaking ability and top-five ranking in this class. At 5-11 she can go inside and rebound, but can handle the ball as well and lead a fast break. Averaged a double-double for Omaha North this year with nearly 12 points and 11 rebounds per game. She had double-digit rebounds in each game in Lincoln and her semifinal performance of 11 points and 20 rebounds against Kearney was one of the top outings of the weekend.

An absolute bucket, Beveridge thrives in Gothenburg's up-tempo style. Scored 56 points in three games as the Swedes finished third after beating Ogallala in the opening round and then falling to eventual champion Milford in the semifinals. This season, Beveridge eclipsed the 1,000 point career mark and set the Gothenburg school records for 3-pointers in a career (197) and a season (80). She will have a chance to be just the 15th Nebraska prep girl to make 250 career 3-points next season. Beveridge will not play nationally this summer, but NAIA and Division II level coaches should be sure to watch her at regional level tournaments.

Massey is going make a NAIA school (even Division II) happy with her talent if she decides to play basketball in college. Another player who thrives in an up tempo game, Massey scored 51 points in three state tournament games as the Pioneers upset Lincoln Christian in overtime in the opening round. Scored 24 points in a semifinal loss to Malcolm and is the definition of a leader on the court for coach Eric Jones. Had season averages of 11.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.

Maybe one of our favorite players to watch, Bohaboj made big play after big play for Bennington as they won the Class B state championship on Saturday and completed a perfect 28-0 season. In a big semifinal win over Lincoln Pius X, she scored 19 points, grabbed six rebounds and had four steals. Had junior season averages of 11.3 points, 5.3 assists, 4.7 steals and 3.7 rebounds per game. With a big summer ahead, we expect Bohaboj to receive heavy recruiting attention.

Made the most of her one state tournament game by keeping the Silverhawks alive to the very end until they lost to Kearney, 55-51. Irons scored 22 points on 6-for-12 3-point shooting and got to the rim effectively a few times as well. Irons had an excellent junior season where she led the Silverhawks in scoring (14.8), rebounding (5.0) and steals (2.1). Like many in the class of 2027, another big summer awaits for Irons who we expect to continued with ETG Midwest.
