I started dropping the #talentiseverywhere over 20 years ago when national media were not acknowledging Texas girls' basketball and a few years later I added the hashtag. This event gave me a look at so many players with next-level potential who I knew absolutely nothing about and many I have seen that continue to elevate their games. I'll drop the team evaluations next but here are my Top 6

Dallas sold me in the 7th grade and has done nothing but continue to elevate her game and I always say you go from good to great when you make those around you better. She can overpower guards and taller players around the basket and her body control after contact helps make that happen, yet her jumper and scoring off the dribble keeps the defender guessing. Her court vision was huge as she set her teammates up for easy attempts, her "on the ball" defense and quick hands helped to create turnovers plus she dove on the floor for loose balls

Johnson grabbed my attention a couple of seasons ago and her initials helped me keep the "when I see JJ, I know Good Times are coming because she is DYNOMITE" and her energy is second to none whenever she steps on the court as she falls into that "never takes a play off" group. She's explosive off the dribble, finishes after the lick, and drops it from outside yet her "seeing the floor" across the board and applying constant heat defensively had me break a sweat watching

Fox as in "sly like a " has always been one of those unique players who understands how to get "hers" in the flow yet can flip the switch and take over games offensively. The outside shot has been there yet her growth spurt gives her options to not only score over smaller guards around the basket but her deceptive first step and ability to finish with either hand is a big plus. She rebounded, handled the ball, and saw the floor in transition as well as in the half-court

Williams was one of many players at the event who left a last first impression and she did that before closing the event out by changing hands in mid-air to score after contact. Her mid to long-range jumper, stop and pop as well as "catch and shoot" looked good but so did her FLOATA to score as she created problems galore for defenders. She uses her athleticism on both ends, on the ball pressure was smothering at times plus she saw the floor

Alexander showed me in the "3 on 3" what was coming when the games started and as usual, I was correct. Another great first look as she rebounded and went coast to coast to score yet her timing to block, alter, and (or) deflect shots was solid, as was her defense, both "on the ball" and around the basket. She can play multiple positions, and her slight HEZ to attack and score off the dribble was nice yet so was her finishing after contact with either hand. Speaking of hands, hers are quick and picked some pockets plus her jumper was effective

Wilson grabbed my attention during the LIVE period in July yet watching her turnaround jumper as well as "hands and footwork" to score during the 3 on 3 gave me yet another look. She's strong and her finishes after contact attacking off the dribble were nice, she also dropped the jumper from outside yet she gets the #THROWBACK for doing something I don't see enough of and that"follows her shot". She rebounded, on both ends, she saw the floor and did a good job defending both in and outside the paint
