Welcome to high school basketball 28s. Your journey is going to have highs and lows, but you will be okay. You have people in your corner from coaches, teammates, and family, who will help equip you with tools that will enable you to chase down your dreams. You are in a solid state where women's basketball is held in high regard. You dream of playing at the next level, you can achieve it. Be consistent in your work ethic. Seize the day. Welcome to the next steps in your journey.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Just like the paragraph above, the 28s have arrived on campus. One of the more highly-touted groups as a whole, these girls in this class from what I have seen come in a little more polished than most. They have been battle tested, playing more games on platforms which have caused them to grow a little faster. By no means am I saying these girls are going to come in and set the world on fire. What I am saying is this, look for these young ladies in this class to come in and contribute at a significant capacity. The girls in this class have multiple skills that will enable them to see the floor quicker than most. It could be because of their height, their defensive acumen, their shooting ability, whatever it may be, understand that the 28 class is ready to come in here and rock.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Throughout the state, I feel that this influx of younger talent is ready to step in and contribute right away. I mean kids these days are coming into the equation with more resources say for when back when I played. I feel that kids who have the ability to train and research the sport, can emulate and excel at a craft especially if they go out and practice something consistently. This class has a lot of young ladies who do just that. They have tremendous work ethic and willingness to go out and get better.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As we continue to uncover gems in this class, understand that these girls will be strong components of building solid foundations for programs for years to come. Coaches are dreaming on this class because they bring an injection of talent to the program. So as kids are chasing a dream, prepare to embrace everything that it takes for the dream to come to fruition. It can and will happen 28s. He was a long rangy power forward who was very versatile. With Webb- KNX, [player_tooltip player_id='825239' first='Kyndall' last='Mays'] is that girl. A long, rangy, powerful forward who can be lethal facing up by putting the ball on the floor, or playing with her back to the basketball. A powerful kid who plays with a motor, she's super tough and hard to defend. She has a bag on her and can dominate the interior. Putbacks, rebounds, blocking shots on defense. This kid is a two-way player who is relentless in everything she does. Look for her to be the Stromile Swift of the state and help lead Webb-KNX to capturing hardware before it's all said and done. Had a tremendous summer ball season, where she excelled and got better. This kid is super tough and finishes around the rim with brute force. It's hard to contain this young lady as she can carve you up by unleashing a bevy of back to the basket moves or put it on the floor and rise above outstretched hands. This kid contributes on the defensive end, blocks shots, obtains rebounds, and clogging up the lane. Look for her to continue to grow and become even more lethal at the highschool level. Poised with the ball in her hands, she is a heady ball player who makes the right play at the right time. Brings physicality to the game, yes she will knock it down from the perimeter, but going toe-to-toe and finishing at the rim is what she does best. She's not new to the high school platform, however she is going to take the success she had last year and build on it. This kid is  a go-getter, look for her to come right out the gates and be a leading catalyst for Central. Nice handles, this kid blows by the competition, challenging the opponent at the rim. She is a heady ball player and will use her size to her advantage to create mismatches. An effective passer, tough defender, this kid is a solid multi-sport athlete who is a threat on both ends of the floor. A heady ball player who contributes in multiple statistical categories. Yes, she can score it on multiple levels, but it's the other things that she does well that makes her a valuable asset on the floor. She makes timely assists, she rebounds on both ends of the floor, she boxes out, pokes the ball away, pretty much anything to help gain another possession for her ball club. She will look to come in this season and find her niche on a talented Tullahoma team.
