A super tough competitor who is willing to do whatever it takes to help her ballclub win. A selfless ballplayer who can play any position. She can handle the rock, shoot at a high clip from all three levels, drop dimes, contribute on the boards, and get after it on D. She spearheads her club’s attack, giving them an edge and establishing their attitude and identity. She is going to put up numbers, but the one that matters most to her is the tally in the wins column. Look for her to have a year where accolades and club opportunities will follow. A solid talent that is going to make some noise this year.

Stafford holds numerous offers to play at the next level for a reason, and after watching her at the expo, I think Jaycee will definitely see more come her way! Stafford is an athlete with a non-stop motor. I was impressed with how well she moved on the court with or without ball in her hands. She’s an athletic guard that makes the correct reads. Jaycee did a great job getting to her spots and knocking down shots. There is so much to love about this kid’s overall game!

A special kid who can do a multitude of things. She can knock down perimeter shots, attack off the dribble, and finish around the rim. I love how she always seems to have a knack for being around the basketball. She gets steals, contributes on the boards, and just brings an all-around game into the fold. Look for her to have a standout year and be one of the top girls in her district.

A ballplayer. First thing that comes to mind. A kid who gets after it on both ends of the floor. She has a nice stroke from the field as she scorches the bottom of the net, but it’s the other things she can do that are impressive. Defending, rebounding, making the extra pass, etc. She’s excelled on the travel-ball stage and uplifts her school’s ball club. A heady ballplayer who is looking to take the next step for her team to be successful. Look for her to have a solid year.

A kid who plays the game the right way. Doesn’t matter what it is, she is going to get after it, giving it her all. Can score from all 3 levels, thread the needle as she facilitates to the hot hand, rebound the basketball, and defend. She is a selfless ballplayer looking to make an impact at anything and everything she does. Look for her to attract the eyes of college coaches as she has the size and speed to do a multitude of things. A kid who is truly on the upswing.

A hard-working kid who just played with a motor. She got to her spots on the floor to knock down shots. Played hard-nosed defense, really impacted the game in a multitude of ways. Loved her hustle, how she distributed the rock to her teammates. There wasn’t one moment when she wasn’t getting after it. No matter the score, she was active somewhere on the floor. She’s a heady ballplayer who plays every possession as if it were her last. Keep tabs on this young lady; she’s an effective two-way player who makes a difference.

Sophomore out of McKenzie High School is due for a big regular season, and she has shown signs of it last year and this offseason.

Stafford does many things well. On offense, she is a true three-level scorer and has above-average dribbling at her size. She has a soft touch in and around the basket and can score with both hands from that range. Stafford is also a great rebounder. She showed her scoring skill set and rebounding ability recently in a preseason scrimmage against Union City High School. In the contest, she recorded a double-double, getting 23 points and 15 rebounds.

On the defensive side of things, Stafford’s high-level play carries over. At 5’10”, she can guard almost any player that steps foot on the court.

A tough kid whose game has grown tremendously. Talk about someone who has transformed her game; she has become a threat both inside and out. She can use her body and work down low, but also attack from the arc and utilize her quick first step and handles to challenge opponents near the basketball. She’s fearless and is willing to go through contact on her way to the basket. Solid defender, bucket-getting, a kid who is going to help the McKenzie program for years to come.

Big guard who can play either the one or the two. Strong as an ox, this kid is aggressive, especially when it comes to driving to the hole. She can pull it from the 3, knock it down from the mid-range, and like I mentioned earlier, finish at the rim, carrying along the competition with her. Defensively she gets after it, making it tough for opponents to operate. Contributes big time on the boards, and blocks shots as well. This kid had a stellar weekend in Houston. Look for her to take off and continue on this trajectory.

I’ve seen her in multiple platforms, she is a big guard who can play down low, spot up on the arc, handle the ball and get a paint touch. She is used in multiple ways and can pretty much exploit whatever a defense is giving her. She knows how to use her size to her advantage and with her ability to knock down shots from multiple spots on the floor, makes her a sure thing. She plays with poise, locks up on the defensive end, and contributes on the boards. What makes this kid tough is that she has a lot of weapons in her arsenal. If she needs to play low, she can, if she needs to play wing, she can, if she needs to handle the rock, well, she can do that too. This kid is tough and look for her to continue to get better and be a nuisance on the floor.
