Difference Makers Who Can Score The Rock

A particular trait that gets highlighted the most is scoring. Obviously, one who has a keen eye for putting the ball in the hoop gets the notoriety and the attention. Within this 2027 class, you have some talented kids who do just that, put the ball in the hoop at a high clip.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It doesn't matter the level, 1A,2A, 3A, 4A, DII-A, DII-AA, if you can score, you can score. Sure, there are those out there who may stand on a table and preach about competition, but still, in the grand scheme of things, you have to put the ball in the hole. So many of our players can do that, but it amazes me that, when you look at the landscape, we are seeing girls reach benchmarks that are rarely reached. I am talking about the 1,500- or 2,000+-club. Those types of numbers are hard to reach, and I don't care who you are. To put up numbers night in and night out, it's pretty impressive. Getting to 1,000 is a feat in itself, and we will have tons of girls from this class do it. Getting more than that, shoot, these girls are lighting it up.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here are a few girls rewriting the record books at their respective schools. Doesn't matter where she is on the floor; given any space, she is going to find a way to put the ball in the bottom of the net. Taking someone off the dribble or letting it fly from deep, the nest swishes every time this kid shoots the rock. What amazes me is her ability to utilize her body to exploit favorable spots. She's a dynamic guard who can score by taking someone off the dribble, from the catch and shoot position, or by posting up down low and taking advantage of smaller defenders. She fights through the opposition, obtaining and one chances especially down low. She can dial it from deep as well, being a kid who can stretch the floor and exploit a defense's weakness. Built differently, she will find ways to score from inside the arc or along the 3-point line. She can take an opponent off the dribble or come down and just pull it from deep; her ability to find the bottom of the net is crazy good. One thing I do enjoy watching her do is be utilized in the screen game. The way she reads the defense from that action is tough, making it hard to contain her. She's a kid whose stock is rising and a tough opponent to scout. The way she impacts the game is second to none. Not a traditional big, this kid can stretch the floor, exploit the mid-range, or use her body to own the low post. She has solid handles and can elevate over opponents. She's a bucket getter, someone who is always a tough outing. A kid who has taken her game to another level. Time and time again, she has raised her game to overcome whatever competition she faces. She has a nice pure form as she unleashes the rock from all 3 levels. Her go-to is the mid-range game, where she is among the best in the country. She can finish in the paint and along the perimeter, making her one of the deadliest kids in her class. Before it's all said and done, she will have plenty of records that may or may not ever be touched. It will be interesting to see where she ends up committing to.
