Florida Expo Preview: Play it "Forward"

As the 2024 Florida Expo draws near, we place the spotlight on some of the top forwards who will be in the building. The list consists of some talented forwards, some at the power forward position and others at the small forward position. There will be a lot of talent at the Expo, and every position will be covered with talented prospects from around the State.    [player_tooltip player_id='346885' first='Mikayla' last='Paschal'], one of the top forwards in the State will be in the building and she brings it in these type of events. Paschal is a lethal offensive weapon who can score from anywhere on the court. Paschal plays 4 at times and can stretch and stress a defense with her ability to shoot the three-ball. She can also get into the paint and unleash a series of midrange jumpers on the opponent. In transition, she runs the floor like a guard and consistently scores transition points. Paschal will be one of the most exciting players to watch at the Expo.     [player_tooltip player_id='638571' first='Aaliyah' last='Grant'] is another versatile power forward who will be in the building. Grant can play the physical game and mix it up on the inside, scoring with power, and she can also attack from the wing and blow by power forwards who are too slow to defend her. Grant's skill and athleticism will be on full display and she will be one of the top forwards at the Expo.     [player_tooltip player_id='249395' first='Jazlyn' last='Bowman'] is a versatile player who play the small forward position as well as the shooting guard position. Bowman is a three level scorer who can really score the ball from anywhere on the floor. She has a potent three ball in her arsenal and can also get on the paint and score with her length. She will be a player to watch at the Expo. She will exploit slower forwards and shoot over smaller guards.       [player_tooltip player_id='1035248' first='Ava' last='Rivera'] is another Forward who will be in the building, and she brings an impressive resume with her. As a Junior, Rivera was a beast on the boards, where she averaged 16.6 rebounds per game. Rivera can also score the ball. As a Junior, Rivera averaged 12.0 points per game. In addition to being a double-double machine, the forward made contributions on defense as well. She blocked 1.6 shots per game and averaged 2 steals per contest. Rivera will be at the Expo and whomever she defends will have to bring it.     [player_tooltip player_id='219786' first='Kennedy' last='Deal'] is primed to take off this year, and the PGH Expo will be a tuneup for the upcoming season. Deal has played Varsity as a 7th grader and 8th grader and enters her Freshman season with experience. Deal is athletic and has good size at the wing position. She will be a player to watch at the Expo.     [player_tooltip player_id='514542' first='Vikki' last='Blye'] has received recognition over the past few years and has been a top standout after several showcases. It will be great to lay eyes on the 2025 athletic forward. In addition to the athleticism, Blye has great size, She caught our eye a few years ago at the Southeast Showcase, and will be great to see her on the floor again. Blye has the physical traits and athleticism to cause some problems against the opposition. We will keep our eyes on Blye at the Expo.
