NVWBCA Showcase Standouts

She handled the ball well, hit a handful of threes, and competed on both ends. Emily handled the ball well and made some nice passes. Addyson was stuck on automatic from three early in the day and put together a huge scoring output. Addyson struggled with finishing in the paint at times, but she did a nice job battling inside. Addyson is much more of a wing to me. Spotting up and knocking down catch-and-shoot opportunities is the best part of her game. Her energy and effort were elite, and you couldn't help but notice her when she was on the court. Alice can knock down open threes and is an outstanding perimeter defender. Her jump shot didn't always fall today, but that athleticism and ability to attack the rim was on display. Malia can finish over people, and every time I watch her she becomes more and more polished. Malia is a good passer and very active on the defensive end. There isn't anything that she showed she couldn't do yesterday. Sarah made quick and decisive decisions with the ball. She made nice passes and did well attacking the rim. She knocked down jump shots from the mid-range and three-point line. Kynza is a good driver and knows how to finish from difficult angles. Kynza has excellent body control and plays at her own pace. Kynza has a natural ability to score the ball even if she isn't shooting the ball as well as she normally does.
