Dakota is the best player in the parish hands down and the best two-way player in northwest Louisiana. Her ability to score and defend at six feet is what sets her apart. She can score from the perimeter, rebound and score in traffic plus defend every position on the other end. Howard can handle the ball and take defenders off the dribble as well. There isn't much she cannot do on the hardwood. Her ability to lead will be paramount this season as Parkway goes for a three-peat.

There is not a better post forward in north Louisiana right now. The Haughton lefty is truly like a mini-version of Zach Randolph when she is on the block. If she catches the ball, it is a guarantee she will score or get fouled. Branch is also nimble enough to attack from the wing with the dribble. With her skill set, Branch should be able to garner more votes for all-state while helping Haughton to a deep playoff run. She is truly that talented.

Ryan is a player who commands the paint when she is on the floor. She is a rim protector on defense and seems to snatch everything that hits the glass. Ryan has improved her perimeter game on offense and can make the mid-range with ease. One of her best traits is that she runs the floor well. Rim-to-rim or on the wing, she can finish with the best of them. Avery is a handful on offense and defense.

Wilson is one of the better all-around players on the 5A level. She is a player who can handle the ball, rebound on both ends, and spot up from three. Versatility is her biggest asset. Savannah is also tough as they come. She can take punishment when driving to the goal and still finish. Her ball-handling and shooting will be paramount in another Parkway title run.

Hammond is one of the better three point shooters in the girls game. She can also handle the ball better than people think. Spotting up off the wing and feeding the post from the same area are two things she does very well. Leaving Hammond open with clean looks is asking for trouble. Haughton is primed for another deep run in the playoffs and Hammond will be a big part of that.

Sykes is one of the hardest females to guard in the girls game. Her skill set is one reason. However, Sykes and the energy she brings is on another level. Kezyriah attacks the rim as if she has a nose for scoring. She gets a ton of rebounds and is very good at offensive put backs. Her excellent hands help her when catching the ball in the post or playing defense. Sykes will tap a steal to herself just like she does when she rebounds. She is a bonafide scorer in the paint and can command the glass when she wants.

Carter is an up and coming guard who has a combo guard skill set. She can penetrate and get into the lane. Carter stays low with her dribble and can fit into crevices within the defense. When she plays off the ball, she can shoot it from three and penetrate from either wing. Zamarion is a player who can break down a defense or shoot over it. She is a dangerous player with the ball in her hands.
