Sunday, Prep Girls Hoops Indiana held "The Expo" at Fishers High School, showcasing some of the state's top Juniors and Seniors. In the past, the PGH Top-250 Showcase used to encompass all four high school classes, but now with the Freshman Showcase and the Sophomore ID Camp taking place, this focused specifically on the classes of 2025 and 2026. I was familiar with most of the girls from past viewings, but there were a few newbies, some surprises, and all-in-all, everyone played extremely hard and tried to prove themselves at the event in a combination of 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 games. Below is a look at six ladies who I felt stood out the most when I was able to see them. This is not rankings based of the top six prospects in attendance, as much as it is the six who I felt played the best in a limited sample size of parts of two to three games seen at most. We will have additional articles later this week highlighting every prospect who was in attendance.

There were just nine uncommitted 2025s in attendance, but I felt like Tianna played well regardless of which class she was in. She is such a strong perimeter player that she absorbs contact well, but yesterday she also finished through contact with either hand around the basket consistently. She facilitated well in the halfcourt, and she knocked down the open rhythm jumpers she was able to get set on. She always plays with an outstanding motor, and she is a more than willing and capable defensive player. She had a strong day.

Gracyn has a long, wiry-strong frame, and she is just such a smooth athlete. Things seem to come easy to her, and she is typically productive, so she stands out most games. I don't believe I've ever seen her play "angry", but I would be scared for her opponents. She was good at finding teammates yesterday, sharing the basketball, and being a "team" kid, but when she had opportunities to make plays, she made that look effortless. She's another high-motor, hard-working player who takes pride at the defensive end as well.

Laniah has always been extremely long and wiry, she is a bouncy prospect, and she plays with a great deal of versatility. Yesterday, she was engaged the entire time, always trying to make a play. She handled the ball quite a bit, and she was more aggressive at trying to score it from the perimeter. She has normally been most comfortable around the paint and mid-post, but as she continues to tighten her skillset and prove she can be a consistent perimeter scorer and defender, opponents are having to defend too many things, now.

Ava is another really nice, versatile player in this 2026 class. She has a balanced skillset, length, fluid athleticism, and a good all-around feel for the game. A year ago, I felt like she was more of a mid-post forward, but throughout the Spring & Summer, in addition to yesterday, she has become more of a playmaking wing. She can handle it in transition, she has good vision and can find teammates, plus she has some touch at all three levels. Additionally, she is a versatile defender who can take on bigger guards, wings, and forwards.

Throughout the grassroots season, I talked about how Aniyah had really improved her skill and awareness as a pure point guard. Yesterday, she was fantastic, using her speed and quickness to push tempo, finding gaps in the defense and attacking the basket, but also understanding when it wasn't there and moving the ball to the open teammate. Her decision-making has greatly improved, plus she has made her perimeter shot-making more consistent. I feel like she is primed for a big Junior season at Tri-West.

I mentioned Aleeyah in the group of ones to watch heading into the event, and she did not disappoint. She is a long, wiry, quick, fast, and explosive combo guard. She has the ball on a string and can create space with the dribble or get to the basket. She is more of a shooter/scorer, though, from the point guard position, but she makes good decisions with the ball...she's just more aggressive at taking/making shots. She's able to turn the corner, pull up in the mid-range game, or knock down the open 3-pointer as well.
