It's an incredibly exciting time right now in New Jersey as we are getting closer and closer to the start of the high school girls basketball season. As we continue to get closer, we'll be taking more in-depth looks, conference-by-conference, to examine the best players, most exciting new faces and more. Here's a look at the top returners in the Olympic Conference for this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='414232' first='Alexa' last='Henry'] - Lenape (2025)

Coming off a fantastic junior season, [player_tooltip player_id='414232' first='Alexa' last='Henry'] has a chip on her shoulder as a senior, ready to be an all-state talent. She brought a bit of everything to the table for Lenape. Easily one of the most creative scorers we've seen in this conference, Henry can shoot the three well, attacks the rim with tenacity and is ready to take over a game at any point, any time. She's come into her own and then some for this team, just an incredible talent overall.

[player_tooltip player_id='835906' first='El-Anita' last='Joe-Samuel'] - Lenape (2027)

We could not have a list of the top returners in this conference without mentioning Joe-Samuel, who put together one of the best freshman seasons in the state last year. Like her teammate mentioned above, she's shown that she can do everything and anything, an incredibly successful player on dribble-drives in the lane and a fantastic three-point shooter. She's not afraid to be aggressive and get to the cup, which she does often.

[player_tooltip player_id='559132' first='Brielle' last='Alaba'] - Cherokee (2026)

Alaba had her breakout campaign as a sophomore for Cherokee, a program that always finds a way to produce top-end talent. When one leaves, another fills in that place and that player right now is Alaba. She's a very complete guard, someone who can truly do it all, which she's demonstrated over time. Her bread-and-butter of course is her scoring and when she's on, she's nearly unstoppable with the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='879631' first='Madison' last='Stuart'] - Eastern Regional (2025)

Stuart, a recent Division I commit, was one of the backbones for Eastern last season. She returns as the player for this team and the featured frontcourt piece for the Vikings. What Stuart did really well last season was scorer, but what we want to see from her this season is balanced production out of a forward: getting rebounds, blocking shots, asserting her presence down low early and often.

[player_tooltip player_id='525409' first='Darby' last='Chhabria'] - Cherry Hill East (2025)

It seems that a change of scenery was all that Chhabria needed to blossom into an impact piece for Cherry Hill East, nearly averaging a double-double for the Cougars. She can shoot, she can drive, she welcomes contact and drives through contact. She's not afraid to get to the foul line and she'll dish the rock off too if she has the opportunity. Her growth just as a junior was tremendous. We can't wait to see what will happen this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='789189' first='Brooke' last='Stagliano'] - Paul VI (2027)

Arguably the class of the conference in recent years, Paul VI is going to have a few impact players returning, among them sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='789189' first='Brooke' last='Stagliano']. She was used early and often by the Eagles, presenting one of the more impressive three-point packages we've seen in South Jersey overall. A lot of raw talent yet to be unlocked, but a great overall package an high basketball IQ that will make her a future standout.

[player_tooltip player_id='414234' first='Azanah' last='Campbell'] - Paul VI (2025)

It was hard to leave out players, especially when the entire starting five for Paul VI will be returning for this season. However, we can only highlight so many and Campbell certainly checks the boxes as an intriguing talent going into her senior season. Top scorer last season for the Eagles that mainly works inside the three-point line. Not afraid to drive to the basket and draw contact. Great defensive presence with even better court awareness.

Angelina Pena - Bishop Eustace (2027)

Like Paul VI, Eustace has a number of impact pieces returning this season, perhaps none more impactful than Angelina Pena, a freshman sensation down low that racked up quite a few double-doubles the second half of the season. She really blossomed over her last 10 games or so, asserting her presence for the Crusaders, and her shot-blocking is top-notch, an aggressive rim protector and rebounder, all in one.

[player_tooltip player_id='879618' first='Imani' last='Dennis'] - Bishop Eustace (2025)

Pena provides the action down low and Dennis and [player_tooltip player_id='414236' first='Giavanna' last='Rogers'] provide the spark up top. With two fantastic guards leading the way, we have chosen to focus on Dennis, less of a shooter than Rogers, who hit 50+ threes last season, but a fantastic defensive piece and growing passer. Dennis also has gotten dirty on the glass and gotten some key rebounds for Eustace. That defense though, that's her x-factor on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='601276' first='Analyse' last='Intenzo'] - Moorestown (2026)

Moorestown is another team prepared and stocked up to go on a postseason push this season. At the helm is Intenzo, the captain of the ship, an incredible three-point shooter that has made significant strides on the defensive end of the court, from rebounding to shot-blocking. We're seeing a well-rounded game being crafted in front of our eyes, a superstar that is only going to get better.

[player_tooltip player_id='583703' first='Julia' last='Lewis'] - Cherry Hill West (2025)

Lewis has been through the grind over the past three seasons for Cherry Hill West and is a big reason why the Lions are where they are within this conference. She's a proven scorer, a bonafide leader and a playmaker. She is the key cog, the backbone, the engine inside of the vehicle that keeps going. What an incredible player Lewis is inside the perimeter especially, drawing fouls left and right. It's impressive to watch, truly.

[player_tooltip player_id='835898' first='Kirsten' last='Gibson'] - Cherry Hill West (2027)

Lewis's partner in crime this season is sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='835898' first='Kirsten' last='Gibson'], a player who burst onto the scene as a freshman with the Lions and put together quite the incredible season. Not afraid to shoot the three, she hit nearly two a game to start things out, so there's no telling where that could go as she improves in this conference. Smart player, intelligent player and great insight for the game overall.
