Young Forwards Show Glimpses at RepsonReps Showcase

These young prospects showed versatility with their skill sets and ability to play multiple positions. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='514916' first='Caeli' last='Weaver'] (2028 Center) looked the part at the showcase and she did a good job of showing what next season could be like.&nbsp; Weaver gets down on the block and does a good job of establishing position in the post. The young center-forward runs the floor well. She and fellow teammate McCreary are going to be a force in the middle of Tocoi Creek's defense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='934210' first='Kristyonna' last='Harris'] (2028 Forward) played well and really showed her defensive skills.&nbsp; She was one of the most intriguing prospects at the showcase. Harris has elite athleticism and defensive ability and can impact the game on that end of the court alone. &nbsp; Harris showed some nice offensive moves in her arsena, but her defensive skills are superior at this time.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='974196' first='Trinity' last='Dinkins'] (2028&nbsp; PF) showed some nice ball handling skills and her defensive skills were on display.&nbsp; Dinkins has a nice physicality to her game and some versatility.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='987748' first='Arie' last='Bostic'] (2029 Forward) played well at the RepsonReps showcase, especially on the defensive end. Bostic made it clear a few times that there would be no easy shots in the paint. She had a few blocks in a short period, rebounded well and initiated the break. <br><br>[player_tooltip player_id='987749' first='Kenza' last='Soumahoro'] (2029 Power Forward- Center ) consistently made plays throughout the showcase and was relentless on the offensive glass. Once she secured the rebound she put it back up for the score.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='987750' first='Kinley' last='Herring'] (2029 Forward) had a very nice showing at the showcase and there were some plays she made that were telling of her abilities. In one play, she executed three impressive feats: she grabbed the rebound, initiated the Fastbreak and then threw a half court dime for a score to her teammate filling the lane. <br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='987751' first='Saige' last='Grace'] (2028 Guard- Forward) really look good out on the floor. Grace looks versatile enough to play the 2 and the 3. Her fluid movement up and down the floor was impressive, and her court vision and passing on the fast break was advanced. Grace also rebounded well. She should have a big impact this upcoming season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
