In one of the bigger moves of the preseason, Cordis moves from Timberline to North Thurston. She averaged a whopping 27.4 PPG last season, just slightly ahead of new teammate [player_tooltip player_id='388789' first='Soraya' last='Ogaldez'] (26.9). Cordis is a blur on both ends of the floor, she can rack up steals with her constant pursuit of the ball (5.7 SPG in 2023-24) and is highly creative while attacking the paint. She goes from one 20-4 team to another 20-4 team and has a real shot to make a run in the 3A this year.

Eastlake loses four key seniors off of last year's team but they still have some solid talent to fall back on this winter, and the addition of Roberts in the backcourt certainly helps. She put up over 17 points a game last season and is right up there with some of the top 3-point shooters in the state. And though her shooting gets a lot of attention, she's also a high IQ player who understands how to manipulate defenses and has proven to be an adept passer who can make plays from the wings.

Davis already entered this season as a serious 4A contender but the addition of Parrish gives them even more firepower for the next two years. They lost 2024 grad Esmeralda Galindo but Parrish should fit in nicely as her "replacement" as a point guard who can score as well as she can create for others. She has shown deep range to pull defenders out, as well as the ability to drive with her eyes up and make plays while getting downhill.

She's one of the most accomplished transfers this season, joining the Auburn Trojans after being named KIngCo 2A MVP twice and surpassing the 1000-point mark with Foster. Deloney had to do a lot at Foster but at Auburn, I would expect her rebounding, interior scoring, and spot-up 3-point shooting to be the most impactful skills. She also has some defensive impact she'll bring with her quick hands and reactions.

Boesel is a great addition to Deer Park, a team with plenty of shooters and capable scoring guards. Boesel is a classic point guard who can move the defense by attacking off the dribble, drawing in defenders, and then staying solid and finding the right pass. She'll be a perfect fit at Deer Park with her playmaking, but she's also used to knocking down big shots and will add another scoring threat to one of the stronger teams in the 2A.
