I covered a middle school showcase and had a chance to see some new faces which I love to do because one more time, talent is everywhere. What was even better was that I saw a young lady going off, [player_tooltip player_id='882049' first='Gracie' last=''] Gille, who will be on this list in the future, talking to her mom. I spoke to her mom briefly and told her that her daughter was a #THROWBACK player and her mom told me she also played.

When she told me her name, Hollie Beamon before Grille, it took me back to the DEEPEST class from Houston which was 2005 where over 100 players went on to to play at the next level, 40 plus went D1 and mom was a STAR for Kingwood, one of the teams you had to go through to get to the state Final 4

I decided to get a jump on my list, and several of these players receiving next-level interest, some with D1 offers on the table but mark my word, this class will be deep so let me split it up quickly.

Byers-Veal was one of the youngest participants at my All-Eyez On Me Individual Showcase in 2020, so what, a 4th grader see evaluation here, and although I didn't drop the #D1Lock on her, I said her upside was scary.
Tapia left a lasting first impression when I caught her a few months ago see evaluation here but defenders will have a harder time catching or simply staying with her because of her SWB, "speed with the ball" as well as her being able to change gears and accelerate with the blink of an eye. Her energy stays the same on both ends as her "on the ball" pressure stands out as well, plus she has D1 offers on the table as I type

Price inherited the tag I put on her older sister Lauren years ago, "The Price Is Right" but I added a twist adding "still right" because of her upside and work ethic which will keep her in the mix, well along with her numerous growth spurts as she's nearing "the magic number" but the magic on the court will have next level coaches after her see evaluation here.

Madkins showed me "poise under pressure" years ago when she knocked down pressure 3s down the stretch including one at the buzzer for the win, while playing up and you know I had to get her name.
Jackson falls into that "ceiling has no roof" group because she's not only "long and athletic" as well as standing a shade under "the magic number" It's also because she can play multiple positions, on both ends so my initial sighting see evaluation here was enough to know she's a #D1Lock yet a year later, the level at the level has skyrocketed see evaluation here
