Celia Neilson (2026) | 6'0 CG | Bishop Fenwick

Celia is a versatile perimeter player that can legitimately play multiple positions. The 6'0 guard has a strong attack game off the dribble and can finish comfortably with both hands from various peculiar angles. She brings floor general tendencies to the court by constantly probing while keeping her head up to make the necessary dish to a teammate. Limited turnovers are another bonus that comes with Celia having the ball in her hands. She can easily advance the ball which leads to easy offense for her squad. Neilson uses all of her frame to allow her dribbles to carry her to her spots on the floor. She also has a decent 3-point shot that allows her to spice things up and keep defenders uneasy. Neilson exudes confidence when the ball is her hand. Efficient offense is almost a byproduct of having her on the floor. Without the ball in her hand, expect her to find players to off-ball screen or trying to duck in after passing and screening away. As a defender, Celia is very capable of heckling multiple perimeter position players with her stronger frame. Although she doesn't use over the top measures to make plays on the ball, her tactics are effective. LeMoyne offered her in August and she could have a few more after a successful season this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1005187' first='Lily' last='Downing'] (2027) | 5'3 PG | Natick

Lily is the quintessential point guard when it comes to facilitation and distribution for the modern game. Downing is worthy of serious regard. She offers some scoring from 3 levels, but really makes her mark diming teammates and advancing the ball. After getting to see her play a few weeks back at The Expo, it was she's well worthy of the praise she receives. Downing is without a doubt one of the top point guards in her class. She makes excellent decisions with the ball in her hand. Lily can thread the needle like no other, but she is rarely forcing plays to happen that aren't there. The court awareness she has just makes it easier for her to recognize plays a second before defenders can react. It almost seems as if Lily is one step ahead of the defense after she assesses her options. She plays with excellent tempo and a certain pace that require defenders to stay on the balls of their feet. Lily can really raise her stock this season as she finds her consistency as an aggressive scorer that never takes her foot off the pedal. Downing is an intriguing player to keep an eye out for this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1045923' first='Koharu' last='Tanaka'] (2027) | 5'6 CG | Dana Hall

Koharu is an energetic combo guard that will help stimulate her team on both ends of the floor. She has athletic takes to the rim that finish strongly off the glass or she can stop short with her refined floater. Tanaka also offers the ability to be a secondary facilitator and she also has a very reliable 3-point shot that can bring relief at the right time for any stagnant offense. She has very quick feet which help her of the defensive side of the ball. She's able to guard ballhandlers from way beyond the 3-point line. If there's ever a need to press, Koharu is the perfect person to put at the front or even the middle due to her reaction time. Once in a defensive position, Tanaka pounces out her stance to shadow anyone who's a primary ballhandler. She's never shying away from the challenge of guarding skilled players. With all those attributes, Kohara will arouse curiosity through the season being a factor for Dana Hall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1045928' first='Abeba' last='Gametchu-Walker'] (2026) | 5'9 Wing | BB&N

Abeba is a 2-way player with excellent size and athleticism for the position. She shows real potential to be a star on both ends of the floor. Long and agile, Gametchu-Walker fits the build on the wing as a scholarship level prospect. She attacks closeouts at a high level which make her driving takes blitz like. The driving angles are polished with counters that give her more space to maneuver around the collapsing defense. Abeba's condor wingspan allow her to gracefully eat up space on the defensive end too. She is a shutdown defender that tends to shade ballhandlers to their weak hand. She closes the gap quick and plays the passing lane. What's even more impressive is her knack for getting back into broken plays. Although she loves to make a play on the ball, Abeba will surely get in position to take the charge. She's one of those players that doesn't mind sacrificing her body for the betterment of her team. As Gametchu-Walker develops a more advanced jump shot from long range, plenty of schools will be reaching out. Expect Abeba to showcase her full arsenal this year playing in a bigger role for BB&N.

[player_tooltip player_id='922619' first='Delaney' last='Bonneau'] (2027) | 5'10 SG | Narragansett

Delaney is one of those players that has that special fare to her offensive game. Bonneau is a true ceiling raiser when she's on the floor. The 3-level scoring is impressive, but the degree of difficulty in the shots she makes is even more stunning. Delaney is a scorer that is under control and plays at her own tempo. She finds her rhythm in atypical situations. Bonneau uses plenty of pump fakes, pass fakes, step-backs and ball manipulation skills to throw players off before putting up a shot. She creates a good amount of separation using these moves, but she's also able to finish shots that most wouldn't be able to with defenders in her face. Her ability to come off screens as a shooter is superior as well. Delaney has excellent vision, so when she draws second defenders, she's able to accurately direct passes to the open teammate. She throws deceptive passes with one hand or no-look passes out of triple threat. No matter if it's in transition or in the halfcourt2, her passing skills are first class. The assists hit players right in their pockets. Overall, Delaney is a player to watch out for through the season. The Narragansett guard is quickly ascending.
