The BB&N guard’s recent play has many believing the ascension is authentic. In the Deerfield Tournament a few weeks back, Gametchu-Walker helped lead her team to victory, winning the whole thing. Her 3-point shot was highly effective and she wasn’t hesitant either. The release point is ideal, so defenders aren’t much of a factor once she’s engaged. Gamechu-Walker is moving fluently and she’s a rather agile athlete, but most importantly she looks the part of a next-level player. AGW’s high ceiling certainly can’t be denied. The hard work is starting to showcase itself and her efforts have made it apparent that she’s a talent to keep watching as she continues to blossom.
