[player_tooltip player_id='278586' first='Emma' last='Olausson'] (2025) | 5'11 CG | Hamden Hall

Emma is a spectacular combo guard talent that has looked absolutely special in preseason play. She moves fluidly and uses a ton of hesitation moves revolved around ball manipulation that make her a hard cover, especially at 5'11. The length combined with the refined skill while being a primary ballhandler empower her as a playmaker. Olausson's style of play tends to intimidate most defenders because of her nonstop onslaught of attacks. It's rare to find an offensive talent of Emma's caliber diving on the floor for loose balls, but that's exactly what Olausson does. She seeks out opportunities as a defender to make plays on the ball too. Expect a major season from the high usage Hamden Hall star.

[player_tooltip player_id='1052460' first='Dorka' last='Kastl'] (2025) | 6'2 PF/C | Holderness

Dorka offers distinctive 3-level scoring, something a lot of other centers in the class may not be as skilled at in. Dorka is a focal point of the offense for Holderness. She sets screens, is a high post option, prominent in handoff actions, an incredible diver, a shooter and a roller. Dorka is also exceptional at sealing defenders behind her to make herself a big open target. Kastl has a high IQ when playing the game, so she knows the correct positions to be in on both ends of the floor. As a defender, Dorka challenges dribble penetrators at the rim without being a serial fouler. After rebounding the ball, she is quickly looking for an outlet and then darting down the floor. Even though Kastl already made an All-Star selection last year, she is still an unfamiliar talent to many that will make headway this year after a big season. This is a scholarship level player.

[player_tooltip player_id='269239' first='Stevie' last='Leigh Bannon'] (2025) | 5'7 PG | Holderness

Bannon is an intriguing '25 prospect that excels around unique areas on the floor. She's a point guard that defenders must box out due to her ability to crash the glass from the weakside. Stevie also shows the ability to comfortably hit 3-pointers in transition or in secondary breaks. Bannon keeps possessions alive, but what should be highlighted is her propensity to run through another offensive set after resetting. More productive possessions lead to games being won and Bannon certainly gives her teams more chances. Another important aspect of her game is her vision. Stevie constantly keeps her eyes up to catch viable cutters or find shooters in their positions. The passes are crisp and she's fearless threading the needle in tight spaces. Bannon will be a noticeable feature for Holderness.

Tyanna Medina (2025) | 5'6 CG | Kimball Union

Tyanna is an incredibly dynamic combo guard, but for some reason she still seems somewhat underrated. The KUA senior is coming into the season after picking up some interest from some scholarship level schools. However, with a big season from Medina, she can absolutely garner more attention from big name schools. Medina has plenty of moves that she serves daringly. When Tyanna is coming down hill, she is ridiculously dangerous. The lateral quickness she possesses allows her to create that needed separating plus give her the proper angles needed as an attacker. She also has a nice-looking jump shot that falls after rhythm dribbles or a swing. As a defender, Tyanna is very capable of slowing down primary ballhandlers. She stays low in her stance and squares her body off to properly shade players. Altoghter, Medina is a great talent that will be heavily featured this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1052477' first='Nyasia' last='Caban'] (2027) | 5'4 PG | KUA

Nyasia is a high-powered speed 2-way point guard that has an incredible amount of potential. The KUA sophomore uses a potent scissor-step to freeze defenders and allow her to appropriately assesses the scenario for that split-second before she pounces. Caban has a pullup jump shot that really elevates her game. The angles she chooses and that elevation she gets on the shot, would make it hard for even the best of defenders to get to. This is especially noteworthy being that Nyasia is standing at 5'4, so she needs that extra height on the shot. Her ability to smoothly operate off the pick & roll is another aspect that stands out. On the defensive side of the ball, Caban uses that speed to jump the passing lanes and get out in transition. She capitalizes on sloppy ballhandlers by constantly agitating them until she flusters them and they turn the ball over. Keep an eye out for Caban through this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1052487' first='Elle' last='Martin'] (2026) | Wing | Portsmouth Abbey

A solid wing prospect that plays with great conviction and steers the team to winning basketball. Martin has the propensity to hit a string of shots that can sway the direction of the game. Elle has been in the gym all offseason and the hard work is going to show this year. She was a leader figure and also an Honorable Mention for All-EIL last year. A major jump in production is in store for Martin in PAS's brand new threads this year. Watch out for Elle through the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='987548' first='Nicole' last='Burns'] (2025) | 5'5 PG | LCA

Nicole is a player that has scored 1000 points in 2.5 seasons. That should speak to the level of offensive productivity. However, Burns is still moderately undervalued at her position. The 3x All-NEPSAC and 3x All-EIL selection has the accolades, but the major college attention isn't necessarily there at the moment. Burns should be a notable prospect to coaches on the next level. She's a steady shooter from beyond the arc. The slanted drives coupled with the crafty angles at the rim while enduring heavy defense is something to stare openmouthed at. Nicole also has the clutch gene that is universally known to be one of a kind. She has calm nerves and is able to hit deep range shots to end a game. She is consistently stepping up to the plate in crunch time to take the big shots. Burns is never shying away from the big moment and that's what makes her a considerable player to know this season.
