Broken Arrow Super Scrimmage: Get to Know these players

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Broken Arrow was the place to be this past Saturday if you wanted to take a peak at some of the top talent in the state of Oklahoma. Many know the big time recruits that play on many of these teams. Those players played like they should at a elite level. I wanted to highlight seven players that just maybe you do not know. All seven of these players will have the opportunity to play after HS. Saturday Kerrington showed great lateral quickness on defense which fits very well with her team defensive concepts. On offense a great down hill driving guard that can get to the rim or make the correct kickout read to spot up shooter. After watching her play Saturday I think this will be that season. Looked very comfortable at the small forward position moving great without the ball on offense making things happen. Tough finishes on the drives finishing with good moves while taking the contact. First 3 possession of the second scrimmage Aliyah knocked down two deep outside shots in a row. One coming off a very nice inside out step back creating the space needed for the deep shot. Great reads on the drive either pulling up for the jumper or making a move around the hoop. Footwork in the paint allowed her to get shot off without being blocked. A vocal leader on the floor that kept talking to her teammates on both ends of the court.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A combo guard that can play 1-3 on the floor offensively and excellent rebounder on defense that a can start a break. Great hands around the rim that catches and finishes with a nice soft touch. A tough inside post defender that did an amazing job of staying on the floor and walling it up making it hard to score on. Tough finisher around the basket that knows how to draw contact for the foul. First time seeing this young lady play and she brings the energy on both ends of the floor. A nice jump shot that kept the defense up close to contest the shot. Impressive for me was the lock down defense she applied on the ball in open space. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Madill has players that demand a no catch type concept which should open up driving lane gaps for LaMiyah to attack.
