About Aliyah
Expert Analysis
Sam Duren | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
With a relentless motor and top tier athleticism, Prestridge makes for quite a duo with her older sister. Attacks the glass even on the offensive end with an “that’s mine” mentality on every rebound close to her. Plays similarly strong and tough around the rim on drives, finishing or drawing fouls. She has a couple different highlights of recent games posted, including an impressive perimeter shooting performance in a win against Mustang. The younger Prestridge sister is one of the emerging stars for Oklahoma’s deep Class of 2028.

Prestridge is on a tear to start her season. Combining with her older sister Kiyah to lead Westmoore to a 4-1 mark and 2-0 in District play. She’s an athletic guard, with the rare comb of rebounding like a forward while also covering smaller, quick guards. Offensively, she’s picking her spots with timely threes. And impressive ball fakes and dribble moves to score herself or create for teammates. Her floor vision is particularly impressive. She’s one of the headliners of a deep and talented sophomore class in Oklahoma.

An explosive athlete, Prestridge had moments as a productive freshman. But following a spring and summer of girls EYBL play, the Lady Jaguar looks ready to take off. Is strong and very quick, which allows her to go by defenders, or finish tough scores at the rim. An offer from Stephen F Austin is a sign of things to come. And expect Prestridge to be among the best drivers in Oklahoma this winter.

Non stop energy always stands out when watching Prestridge. She’ll be on the floor for a loose ball one second. Then hustling around the perimeter to close out on shooters. There’s a reason that with her size, athleticism and motor that she feels like a TNT player. What’s scary for the opposition is that with her motor still running hot, it looks like the rest of the game is slowing down for her. Handles looked tighter and she had more of an on the ball role. As she continues to gain confidence, good luck keeping her out of the paint. The Prestridge sisters are going to be a handful all year long in 6A.

Prestridge is a dynamic guard, who plays taller than her size thanks to athleticism and high motor. Big time rebounder for her age and tends to fill up the full stat sheet. As a scorer, she has a quick first step, which pairs well with her explosiveness when going up to finish at the rim. Can get skinny to go through gaps in the defense, all while maintaining balance and good footwork. Created a very exciting sister duo with her older sister Kyiah (2026). Already averaged double figures in 6A, and looks set to follow in the potential Power 4 quality recruit footsteps of Kyiah.

Based on early viewings, Prestridge has a great combination of athleticism and a tough, bulldog like personality. Dangerous off the bounce with quickness and athleticism, while also unafraid to mix it up on defense. Very agile and in control for her height and build, capable of dodging defenders on drives. Or using ball fakes and other hesitation moves to get defenders off balance and draw fouls. Already forms an elite duo with her older sister, Kiyah.

One of the top freshmen in Oklahoma, already plays with a lot of poise to go along with infectious energy. Played with mindset that loose balls and longer rebounds belong to her, and she has the athletic ability and strength to make it happen. Seems to already have a good understanding of how to play fast but not in a hurry with the ball in her hands. As she can be patient and smart when driving, allowing her to set up and glide by defenders. Ready for instant impact at Westmoore battles in a loaded Class 6A district.

A freshman that played above her grade this past Saturday. First 3 possession of the second scrimmage Aliyah knocked down two deep outside shots in a row. One coming off a very nice inside out step back creating the space needed for the deep shot. The poise she played with at the point guard position is beyond a freshman.
A 2028 to keep an eye this season as she will continue to develop into one of the top players in the state

Aliyah had an impressive showing this past Saturday and is in the conversation as one of the top prospects in the 2028 Class. Great size for a combo guard that could really be the main point if needed. Good reads patience on offense making good decisions all day. The shot off the dribble kept defender up and then she used a nice pocket dribble to change speeds to attack the rim. Joins older sister at Westmoore and will be a great addition to the that program.
