CA High School Hoops Preview: 2025 Top Undersized Guards

There are diamonds in the rough, overlooked mainly due to size. Here are undersized seniors to keep an eye out for this upcoming high school season.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/xianna-felan/"></a>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"></h2>      Gritty, fearless, and cerebral! After leading the Pioneer Patriots to a 25-4 record, Keziah will be relied upon heavily with the departure (graduation) of leading scorer, Olivia Gill. Keziah led all of California with 8.7 assists per game last year. She's everything you envision in a pass-first, defensive-minded PG. Pioneer's success as a team was largely dependent on her playmaking, defense, and leadership. Keziah is elite driving and dishing, driving and kicking, transition, and half court offense. She sees the floor extremely well at her size. Her dominance on both ends set the tone night-in and night-out. She has potential to master this role to perfection at the next level.       In her first season with Antelope Valley, Ariana averaged an impressive 22 PPG. They won seven of their last eight games to close the season, in large part due to her surge. She had seven 30 point games last year, all consecutively in the latter half of the season. Ariana can score at all three levels and will continue that momentum into her senior season. Fellow teammate and 2025 prospect, [player_tooltip player_id='839812' first='Niya' last='Price'], garners a lot of attention, and deservingly so. Yet, Ariana's contributions cannot go unnoticed. She's great on-ball and off, with ability to take over when necessary. Her impact, despite her size, is monumental.    <h2 class="wp-block-heading"></h2>    What Sa'rye lacks in height, she makes up for in tenacity. She's determined to get into the lane at will, with a knack for drawing fouls. Sa'rye is a menace defensively with elite instincts. Great rebounder for her size. Offensively, she applies pressure throughout the entirety of the game. She averaged 24.5 PPG last year, top 20 in all of California. Very few can stay in front. Sa'rye has improved tremendously from year-to-year, so expect her to replicate and reinforce her junior season productivity.    <h2 class="wp-block-heading"></h2>    One of the top scorers in Southern Cal, Angelina had a memorable first season at Ocean View. She has international experience with the U16 Lebanon national team. Angelina truly loves the game and desires to play at the next level. She is comfortable using either hand, with an array of floaters and finishes inside. She was constantly double and triple-teamed, finding ways to make incredibly tough shots. Angelina averaged almost 9 FTA per game! Angelina's versatility and basketball IQ set her apart. She will continue carrying an Ocean View team in a very competitive conference this upcoming season.    <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/xianna-felan/"></a>    Payton played for a loaded Brentwood squad that finished ranked 11th in all of California. She was the 3rd leading scorer. Payton is a sharpshooter who affects winning in various ways. She had almost 100 three pointers made at a 41% clip. Whether the first or third option, she has the ability to play her game and make an impact. Gritty player on both ends, with great shooting mechanics and a quick release. Expect continued success for the Brentwood squad and for Payton to end her high school career with a bang!
