A name that will make me look silly in a few months is this Elkhorn guard. The 5'6 Elk has an excellent floater game and does her best work around the basket. Schultz can handle the ball at a high level and has the creativity to get her reverse finishes around the rim. There's a world where the reigning Southern Lakes Conference first-teamer leaps with injuries around the program, elevating her responsibility even more.

I love kids who can defend and space the floor on the perimeter. Schoen has enough physicality to keep opposing ball handlers in front of her. In this past AAU season, she also showed an ability to defend up and guard some larger kids around the basket, which I never thought was in her arsenal beforehand. She'd done a solid job in Brookfield East's 2-3 zone in the past, but she can defend a few positions on the floor, which will help her in the long run.

The Eisenhower wing had a solid summer with [program_tooltip program_id='713045' first='Wisconsin' last='Lakers'], and her two-way ability flashed on her P24 group. Mainville showed a knack for making plays on the ball, which we knew about her from her time with the Lions, and she continued that in the grassroots circuit. However, I thought she showed more in her offensive game. I remember her looking more aggressive and being a kid whose defenses seemed to key on a little more than when she was with Eisenhower. Mainville also showed a more consistent jumper over the spring AAU season.

A name that popped up at the Top 250 Expo last month, Paulson is a kid I'll watch like a Hawk early in the season. The Oshkosh North guard shot the lights out in Appleton that afternoon and looked much better than she had in the past. Paulson taking a step forward this season would massively aid the Spartans in their rebuild and allow them to space the floor more with a knockdown three-point shooter. I'd say that Paulson could be the barometer for how good this Oshkosh North team could be in 2024-25.
