During October, I will be working hard to discover unranked talent to add to the Prep Girls Hoops Kansas Rankings.

Here are four athletes I featured in recent months who will be added to the rankings in November.

Athletes should claim their profiles if they haven't already. Use this link to claim profiles created by PGH scouts or to create your own profile. https://prepgirlshoops.com/prospect-index/ Just type in your name and if a scout has created a profile for you then just claim it.

Athletes or parents creating a new profile NEED to include a height, position, and the Kansas High School in which they attend or intend to attend. There is no need to put “High School” or “Kansas” in the profile. Any incomplete profiles will be assigned to our “Bench” database, and will not be included in the rankings.

These four Kansas athletes will join the thousands of PGH-ranked athletes, but will have to come back in November to find out where they landed.

Player Profiles are however FREE to create and claim.

Congratulations to these four Sunflower State basketball athletes on becoming members of the PGH nation.

[player_tooltip player_id='1042516' first='Ellie' last='McGuire'], 5'8”, CG, Cunningham, ‘25

I first featured Cunningham's McGuire in an August report. She averaged 12.8 points per game for the Wildcats during her junior season. She is an accurate shooter converting 33 percent from the field, 32 percent from 3-point range, and 63 percent from the free throw line during the 2023-2024 prep season. It is unclear whether she plays club ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1042511' first='Karley' last='Ohl'], 5'7”, F, Southern Coffey County, ‘25

Like McGuire, Ohl was first featured back in August and will join the rankings in November. She is a force to be reckoned with in the paint. She fell just short of averaging a double-double during her junior campaign. She scored 11.8 points per game and grabbed 8.3 rebounds per contest.

[player_tooltip player_id='1042550' first='Kinsley' last='Boss'], 5'11”, SF, Labette County, ‘25

Boss is a multi-sport prospect first featured on PGH Kansas in September. She is a factor in the paint on the court and at the net in a volleyball match for the Grizzlies. She averaged 5.6 rebounds per game and converted 45 percent of her shots from the field during her junior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1042539' first='Lani' last='Speer'], 5'11”, F, Dighton, ‘26

How could a 5'11” prospect not be added to the rankings? Dighton's Speer gobbled up 8.3 rebounds per game in 23 contests as a sophomore. During the 2023-2024 prep season, she scored 9.6 points per game and blocked 3.6 shots per contest.
