Players to Watch

Returning letterwinners - Layla Miles (‘25), Kate Morrow (‘25), [player_tooltip player_id='319044' first='Cadence' last='Scott'] (‘25), [player_tooltip player_id='748816' first='Kylie' last='Mast'] (‘26), who earned 2nd Team OCC honors last season. Kylie finished the last month of last season strong and led us in scoring in several games in January and February. Kate was one of our top outside shooters. Layla and Cadence have both improved tremendously and will be two of our top defenders and rebounders. (Below, [player_tooltip player_id='748816' first='Kylie' last='Mast'])

Colette Sanders ('26) Sanders is the type of player that will hustle on both ends of the floor, can shoot the 3 ball, and not afraid to attack the paint. I (Angie Saiter) watched Sanders a few times over the summer, and she consistently showed the same effort and scoring. (Below with ball)

2024 Schedule/Games to Circle-

We will look to compete each game in a competitive schedule, both conference and non-conference.

Notable-

We will be a young team without a lot of varsity experience, but a team I feel is talented and has potential. We will need to learn how to practice and develop strong daily habits. It will be important for us to mature and get through some growing pains early in the season, as well as establish an identity for ourselves to win basketball games. The seniors have done a great job, over the summer and fall, in leading and setting standards for others to follow. - Coach Corey Kreinbrink
