Pleasant Grove 1-9 (11-13); 6. American Fork 1-9 (the 8-16).<br><br><strong>2024-25 Picks</strong><br><strong><br>1. Skyridge</strong>— Skyridge might be one of the deepest teams in the state and they have a lot of firepower. They will have some really good players coming off the bench. Look for <strong>Liliana Meyer </strong>to be a spark plug for when she is on the floor. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='788316' first='Bella' last='Sika']</strong> will provide size and an interior presence that can also step outside and score. Then you have players with size and ultimate skills like <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='789122' first='Merceius' last='Mili']</strong>. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='789079' first='Ella' last='Oeser']</strong> is back and healthy. Skyridge has the size and perimeter play to really put pressure on a lot of teams. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br><strong>2. Lone Peak </strong>— Lone Peak has been talented for years and that has not changed as they will have a mixture of new faces and a few veteran players that can easily make a run for it all once again. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='796745' first='Kennedy' last='Woolston'] </strong>is as good as they come with her strength rebounding, defending and scoring. Woolston is one of the most deadly shooters. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='849040' first='Lave' last='Holdcraft'] </strong>has gotten better on both sides of the ball, especially shooting the ball. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='796473' first='Zuri' last='Nordstrom'] </strong>is set to have a big year. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='819666' first='Katy' last='Lawrence']</strong> is a do it all player and then you have a few new players like <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='873282' first='Charli' last='Warner']</strong> and <strong>Maddie Pope</strong>. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br><strong>3. Wetslake </strong>— The Thunder will be exciting and young in the backcourt as they will have these two youngsters in <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='796499' first='Janiece' last='Sikander'] </strong>and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='796479' first='Avery' last='Thompson']</strong>. The two guards have been putting in work and are both ready to make the jump this season. Thompson is a very skilled and attacking guard. Sikander is an elite PG that makes everyone better around her. [player_tooltip player_id='861992' first='Ella' last='Seymore'] has a lot of skills and her length on the wing could be tough to defend. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>4. Pleasant Grove</strong>—PG could easily move up the ranking as they have a dynamic player in <strong>Tabi Clark</strong>. Clark is a skilled forward that has been getting better out in the perimeter but is a huge threat in the midrange. Clark could easily cary this team up the charts in this region. Look for <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='796475' first='Makayla' last='Boyer']</strong> to have a bigger role this season as she is set to be one of their go to scorers. She can be a lead guard and she can be a solid shooting guard as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>5. Lehi</strong>— Lehi has to replace a lot of players but they have some really good players coming up. <strong>McKenzie Jeppson</strong> is a player to watch this coming season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='818649' first='Ellie' last='Hill']</strong> will be that player to stop this season. She has size and shooting ability. <strong>Brinley Cook </strong>is another player that will be more involved this year. Madison Andrews is a player with sise and she has youth. <br><br><strong>5. American Fork </strong>— American Fork will have size and some young players ready to make an impact. Really like <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='849037' first='Sarah' last='Mathis']</strong>' game, she will be a tough player. Mathis is an underrated guard. AF has a lot of size and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='978496' first='Lindsey' last='Melville'] </strong>has size, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='888562' first='Kora' last='Kennington']</strong> has size and so does<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='789113' first='Sabrina' last='Hansen']</strong>.
