As a first-time player suiting up in a Timpanogos jersey, Mak has already matched in a single game what she put up over the entire season last year. Timpanogos has opened the year at 7–0, and Makayla has been one of the engines driving that start. Her confidence with the ball, willingness to attack, and ability to finish plays have given the Timberwolves another reliable option on both ends of the floor. Region play will put her growth to the test as she faces tough matchups against Provo and Mountain View.

Boyer had the best game of the season in a familiar place as she went off for 5 three-pointers and really open things up for a big PG win. Makayla is the main ball handler but if teams sit in a zone she is a great zone buster.

Boyer will be a player to watch as her role as a lead scoring guard will increase. She was solid this past season when she was able to get in but with more experience and some sharper shooting skills she will need to really tap into her scoring. Defensively she could be tough as well and that can be a way to create instant offense.
